It would make sense that Tess be the same as Daxter since that happened in J3 but if we ignore that detail. I think she would be a bunny or cat.

Neil's obsession with Kevin makes even more sense when you know they were supposed to be in a poly relationship with Andrew... My heart.. I can't believe Nora cut Kevin out of Andreil, and left him with whatever the fuck Thea is. I don't know if you read the extra content, but there was a lot about it. Poor Kevin, he deserves so much better. It's even more sad when you realise that every traumatised gremlin in AFTG has someone to love and to heal with. Like Andrew and Neil have each other, Aaron has Katelyn, Nicky has Erik, Jean will have Jeremy obviously and vice versa, Matt and Dan have each other, and then there's Kevin... So sad and so unfair...

Okay so I'm right there with you, it would have been so nice for Kevin if kevandreil had been a thing in canon 😢 and I know what you mean on that front re: everyone else having someone.

But listen, I have to believe Nora has a plan for this poor sap. I mean he's either going to end up aro/ace and completely satisfied with his platonic situationships but since he's with Thea rn I kinda doubt that tbh. I could write a whole thesis about why I theorize that Kevin is actually bi, but I frankly, don't have time to write that right now. So instead I'll just say: I think its interesting that Kevin was one of the first to clock that andreil was a thing. I also think its interesting that he literally says its easier to be straight if you go pro than it is to be gay (I believe thats in the Foxhole court) — which shows he's literally thought of it before. I also think it's interesting that he and Thea have literally no chemistry and never see each other.

My theory is that Kevin and Thea used each other — Kevin to get Riko off his back, and Thea to distract from whatever she was doing on the side.

And my theory is that Kevin is going to end up meeting someone after he goes pro. I think his little love story will be in the final book of aftg. And my hope is that it's some super history nerd he meets in the library that doesn't care a lick about exy.
