Kitarou Tanjou: Gegege no Nazo (2023)
whump thing
TW: violence (obviously), head injury, leg injury, protectiveness, caretaker turned whumpee, tied hands, character death, “wasted” sacrifice, lmk if i missed smth
Whumpee was curled up against the wall as the door opened, letting in a shaft of light. The wounds already on their body had mostly healed, but their head throbbed and when they tried to stand up for Whumper, they couldn’t. They couldn’t move at all. Their brain went into overdrive, preparing to beg, to plead, to stop the pain that was bound to come. Instead, they were met with a much less terrifying sight.
“Caretaker!” Whumpee screamed, practically launching themselves into their arms.
“Hey, hey, don’t move. That foot looks really crooked.”
Caretaker’s voice was so soft, so reassuring. Whumpee could’ve cried.
Straight behind Caretaker walked in Whumper, grinning maliciously. They shoved Caretaker forwards a little bit, but Caretaker managed not to stumble. Whumpee was confused.
“This is your last chance,” said Whumper to Caretaker. Caretaker nodded at them with a closed face, but glanced at Whumpee on the floor with a reassuring smile. It was then that they noticed that Caretaker’s hands were tied behind their back.
“Caretaker? What are you doing?” Whumpee moaned. Whumper grinned at them and said, “you’ll find out.”
Whumper took Caretaker’s head in their hands and turned to face the table, roughly dragging them along.
“Don’t worry, Whumpee,” said Caretaker, “I’m doing this so you don’t get hurt.”
Whumper grasped Caretaker’s head quickly and slammed it against the table with an angry cry. Caretaker quickly went limp. Whumper felt around roughly on Caretaker’s neck. “Dammit, they still have a pulse.”
Whumpee screamed. “What are you doing?”
Whumper smashed Caretaker’s head into the table again with brute force. Blood began to trickle down Caretaker’s neck.
“No! Stop- why- why are you doing this?” yelled Whumpee.
“Because,” said Whumper, angrily throwing Caretaker’s body at the table again, causing a sickening crack, “I knew you wouldn’t break if I simply physically tortured you. I had to do this to break you. So here we are.”
Whumper took Caretaker’s head and repeatedly hit it at the table, as if playing some sick drum kit with Caretaker as a beater. “Though, of course, I told Caretaker that if they did this I wouldn’t hurt you. Obviously, I will. They’ve wasted their life-”
“No!” sobbed Whumpee. “Please stop… I can’t- I can’t- stop-”
Whumper dropped Caretaker onto the floor and felt around for a pulse.
Slowly, they looked up at Whumpee, with a sickening smile. A smile that made Whumpee want to beat them into a pulp. A smile they still saw despite the tears clouding their vision.
“Now, Whumpee, will you finally do what I say?”
Hi, could I have a prompt for a whumpee with photophobia (light sensitivity)? It would be so helpful, thank you!
Alrighty, just let me know if I did this right~ (I did a few since they weren’t very in depth)
Whumpee suffers from periodical migraines, at first, they do their best to hide this from Whumper, but it isn’t long until the other finds out. Whumper then begins putting them in the brightest rooms they have, not allowing them anything that could prevent the light from entering Whumpee’s eyes.
Similarly, Whumpee still suffers from these migraines, and Whumper always makes sure to capture these moments with photos. Of course, they use the brightest flash they have, and force Whumpee to look into the camera or face the consequences.
Whumpee gets a concussion, and one of the main symptoms is the photophobia. Of course, they’re forced to carry on like nothings wrong, and the symptoms only get worse, until Whumpee can hardly function with lights on because the pain is so severe.
Lastly, Whumper forces Whumpee to go out with them to the club, despite knowing about Whumpee’s sensitivity to lights. They keep Whumpee there for hours, and even the bathrooms are too bright to be a solace for the Whumpee.
