celeste was raised by a single mom. her father left when she was two years old. she doesn’t really remember him that well and she really doesn’t mind
she has an older brother who often played the role of dad. he’s one of the few people she looks up to the most.
she was a bit of a wild child in high school until she became a “public figure” and decided she wanted to set a good example for younger girls who might follow her.
she spent weekends partying instead of studying, she skipped 75% of her classes. she was constantly getting caught kissing boys beneath stairwells. she was always in trouble, but she was so good at getting out of it. all she had to do was shed a few tears about her father leaving.
after graduation, celeste thought she had her whole life planned out. she was going to go to the local college and become a teacher, marry her high school sweetheart, have a handful of children, and die happily in the town she loved.
plans don’t always work out though. her mother and brother got her an all expenses paid trip to europe for the summer. she had never traveled before, and it opened her eyes and heart to wanting more for herself.
she got home and for the first time in her life, she felt completely suffocated by the small town she had always loved. she needed to get away from it, from the people that knew her too well. she needed a fresh start.
her instagram had always been fairly popular and she had been offered modeling contracts since she was sixteen. it wasn’t a hard decision for her to accept one of those offers and move to california within a week of getting home from europe. the only person she told was her brother and she made him promise to let everyone know she was sorry and that she just needed something more than what the town had to offer.
living in los angeles sucked for the longest time. she was afraid to make friends with other models. that world was so competitive and no one wanted anything to do with someone who didn’t have anything to offer them. if you didn’t have enough clout for someone to use you as a social ladder, no one was going to be your friend. celeste hated that so much.
she’s still a struggling model, so when she was offered a part on the reality show, she couldn’t pass it up.
celeste is really into buddhism, yoga, and meditation. she’s probably the most zen person you’ll ever meet.
