The Woman Law Accidentally Described Years Ago

They used to joke about it.

Back when Law was younger, before the warlords, before the alliances, before the heart pirates became something feared across the grand line - the crew once asked him what kind of woman he liked.

He called the question stupid.

Said he didn’t have time for “that crap.”

But Bepo kept pushing. Penguin and Shachi started listing increasingly ridiculous options just to annoy him, and eventually, Law sighed, shut his book, and answered.

“Someone intelligent.”

The crew booed immediately.

Law ignored them.

“Someone curious. Someone who challenges me instead of agreeing with everything I say. Edgy, but cute.” he pauses. “She’d need to handle herself. I don’t babysit people.”

“That’s your type?!” Shachi laughed. “Captain, that woman doesn’t exist.”

Law had rolled his eyes and gone back to reading.

Years later, docked at some half-forgotten winter island in the north blue, Law walks into a mechanic shop beneath the sound of loud music and sparking metal -

and meets a woman covered in grease stains, arguing with three grown men over why they nearly destroyed an engine.

She’s smart. Sharp-tongued. Obsessed with learning how things work. Drinks bitter coffee like water. Looks at Law like he’s just another man instead of the Surgeon of Death.

And for the first time in his life, Trafalgar Law understands what people mean when they say love at first sight.

Unfortunately for him, she also argues with him constantly.

The heart pirates realize what’s happening almost immediately.

Their captain, who once claimed romance was a waste of time, suddenly spends hours in the engine room “checking repairs.”

Every now and again I sit and wonder how the ever loving fuck Law, Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin got by manning a fucking submarine as teenagers. Like….they were 16, 12, 17, and 18 when they left Swallow Island according to the Law novel and submarine maintenance isn’t exactly a book that’s gonna be available in your local public library (I also doubt Wolf had a manual lying around and even if he did it was probably incomprehensible)

It’s a miracle these boys don’t die of carbon dioxide poisoning or something before they found an engineer or mechanic

Art for a certain BOT series I made. Finally finished all the art for it, but I have been deprived from sleep (gaming too much SDFSF). Enjoy!

Actually staying true to the spam uploads, here is this 'wonderful' piece that I made earlier than the Sabo piece. I said this on my other platforms, but this was one I did as an experiment for both a sticker design, as well as coloring the line art. Needless to say, I absolutely hate this abomination of a piece. (But, I think that's just what comes with the gig of being an artist. You experiment, and 99% of them you hate before finding one you actually like, lol)
