I'm posting some Creature tokens I did for my mtg cube where I made up half of the cards. I know I'm posting almost exclusively about Magic nowadays, but hopefully these have enough merits on their own to satisfy my NUMEROUS fans that followed me before I fell into a trading card shaped hole which I'm incapable and unwilling to crawl out of.

First off, Kobolds. I just loved drawing these critters! Couldn't get enough of them. I'm glad I gave them this silly way to dress that seems just cobbled together. Giving them individual ear forms and fur patterns was also a delight.

Next off, Worker and Golem. I'm particularly proud of the worker one because my inking style is pretty heavy, but the illustration still seems airy and full of light.

Clown Robot Token for Magic the Gathering. I'm proud of the lettering although it's probably hard to read. But sometimes one must suffer for art.

My Website

I’ve been working on my website for a while (read: a few months), on and off, and it’s now at the minimum bar where it’s worth sharing. There’s still work to do, of course, like how it still needs some image optimisation, but in general I feel it’s looking okay. 

Heavy Lines

Perhaps not the wisest thing to build it all myself considering the web is full of things that can essentially build it, or most of it for me (What’s Left is a wordpress template, for example, which was all I was capable of doing back then), but the experience in HTML/CSS/JS is helping me out with other projects.

It looks like this, anyway:

The layout and design, when I started, felt great. The longer you spend with your own designs, though, the more they start to feel dated. I have forced myself to stick with this for now, otherwise I’d never get anything done... but now I have more experience, maybe I’ll try something a little different in the future.

Gems - Heavy Lines

A shoey gazey dreamy concoction reverberating in your head. A textured mixture of Cocteau Twins, Beach House, and Lana del Rey (but just a little but of Lana del Rey not a lot).
