I know Lucian and Kyros are squishy lil babies, but I can't help but imagine how chonky and poofed up they would be as toddlers— at least 2-3 cute folds on arms and legs, and cheeks that bounce when slightly poked. Also, do you have anything about the littles being extremely happy about in their toddler days— like full blown gummy smiles when they happen to see that thing (or a person or an animal) no matter the situation?

SYGIRLIEEEE THE CHUBBY FOLDS ON THEIR ARMS IM CRYINGGGG they are extra squishy in their infant-toddler years. being well-loved, they are also well-fed lol 🥹 have an amazing day too, sweetie!!

there are a handful of things that never fail to make the littles smile as toddlers. here are a few (through various ages) i can think of off the top of my head:

papa— of course, for kyros. he’s just filled with intense joy at the sight of sylus ever since. and sylus would sometimes silly-dance over to him to get him to giggle more.

mama— for lucian. similar effect. he likes it especially when you run over really fast and then stop abruptly to kiss his face.

when the big twins would complain. back when they were infants, the big twins’ whining was nothing but a new, strange tone of sounds. it makes them giggle when luke goes “ughhh by wha-ha-hyyy”

bubble pals. sylus isn’t one to let them have screen time without supervision. so they watch sparsely, and its an extra special treat when they watch tv with papa (he dances along when they ask)

lucian has a full, gummy smile when he gets lifted into the air or feels the sudden drop when anyone play-throws him in the air

kyros likes interactive story times when you or sylus would pause for dramatic effect or change the sound of your voice during story time

park days and outdoor walks! they see the stroller and theyre already putting their shoes on and jumping in

when sylus animated their stuffies for them, using his fingers to make the little dragons nod or shake their heads or shrug. they genuinely think the stuffies are alive.

belly kisses! muah! muah!

when mama & papa smoochy kiss. extra points if there are dramatics & overreactions mixed in with the kiss. they think its cute.

bread. sometimes they eat it. sometimes they just squish it between their fingers and watch them crumble. either way, bread is hilarious for some reason.

lucian wants a puppy. when he sees a puppy or a doggie during walks, he reaches for them and likes hearing them bark. he calls them “woo-woofs”.

kyros loves cats. he loves it when you bring him to the cat-cafe. he plays with the evol-kitties gently when you aren’t using them in your games with sylus. “tat” he would whisper, staring at the little cat in his hands, face entirely too close to the kitten. breath hitching when it meows in confusion. he breathes, “tat…”

getting mama & xay-bear on the choco hunter candy boxes. you and xavier tend to have highest marks on senior hunter contests & get regular photo ops to release as the collectors item cards in limited edition boxes. lucian and kyros always get first pick. their favorite card is a custom one made with xavier doing a “peek-a-boo!” action on the hologram.

the candy in the fishbowl. specifically, doter sayne’s candy in the fishbowl. because that would mean they did a good job at the doctors and zayne is happy with them (they strangely like his approval for some reason)

uncle lebby visits and his magic paper airplanes. uncle lebby snacks. uncle lebby babysits. uncle lebby.

that silly teacher at daycare with purple hair and that lets them finger paint with their feet. who is he to stop their artistic expressions? mister waf is silly and they like him a lot.

bubbles.

ice cream sandwiches— just the perfect soft and chewy food.

watching photo-album flip throughs with mama or papa when they’d go through memory-tablets (like a book leafed with holograms). extra giggles when papa makes up a story you start to refute because thats not true!
