I can't get over the helicopter scene from civil war. Steve racing to stop Bucky from leaving, even though a few minutes ago Bucky had thrown him down an elevator shaft. He grabs on to the helicopter which is mid air, managed to drag it down so he can grab the railing and pull it in. I love how Chris really made us feel how desperate Steve was to stop Bucky from leaving, to keep him by his side no matter what. And then there's Bucky, staring at Steve who is flexing his muscles (they should've let Chris be shirtless) with a very thirsty look. That plus him fiddling with the helicopter controls between his legs makes this a very heterosexual scene.
Sidenote: I wonder how Seb felt, sitting up in the helicopter and watching Chris flex below him. I'd be surprised if he didn't have any thoughts.
God, I know 😭 That scene is insanity. Kind of unbelievable they actually included that, as it was very much in line with what we'd seen in TWS, wasn't it? More so than any other scene in CW with the possible exception of that fight with Tony. The helicopter scene is very dramatic, grand declaration of devotion and "I won't quit you", with a healthy dose of desperation and bulging biceps, and it's amazing. There isn't a single heterosexual frame in that whole entire scene.
And yeah, you're so right - the way Bucky looks at Steve... I'm sure they were going for a "the Winter Soldier homes in on his target and calculates how to best take him out" but thanks to (among other things) Sebastian's acting, it came across much more as "the Winter Soldier salivates at the display of strength put on by the man he has loved his whole life and is imagining getting dicked down by him in great detail", if you know what I mean.
I very much doubt Sebastian was unaffected by watching Chris flex and grunt for however long it took to shoot that scene, that's for sure... I imagine he had an extra long shower that evening, at the very least 👀
