25. How does Rook fare with Caterina? What do they think about Illario's fate?
Deanna has a great deal of respect for Caterina, simply because she is the First Talon. When she learns about Lucanis' upbringing, it does make her feel slight animosity towards Caterina, but she understands how important she is to Lucanis and so she gets along with her well enough. Caterina would actually really like Deanna, the same way she likes Teia but she would never admit it and she'd always nitpick at everything Deanna does. (I also have this idea that Caterina would 'test' Deanna to see if she truly does love Lucanis, and how far Deanna would go to prove that love.... but I won't say more in case I do end up writing that fic one of these days.)
And with Illario, Deanna would've wanted to punish him more severely for everything he did to Lucanis but again, she knows how much he loves him and she accepts Lucanis' decision to spare him. She also sees a lot of herself and Viago in their relationship (the way that Lucanis says Illario is all he had, his closest friend, like brothers, etc. Deanna and Viago are the same), and she knows that if she was in Lucanis' place, she would forgive/spare Viago too.
29. What do they end up doing after the fall of the gods? Do they bask in fame or slink into relative obscurity?
After the final battle, Deanna has a major crash out and is consumed with grief for Harding and Varric, along with everything she has been through finally hitting her hard and the weight of the world falling on her shoulders. There are a few days where she is paraded around for the people of Thedas to cheer and thank the team for saving the world, there's also a ball that she has to attend. She does go to Minrathous to help clean up/make up for not saving them from the dragon whilst Lucanis stays in Treviso to clear out the remaining Antaam. But after all that, she and Lucanis slink away and try to heal from all the hurt on their own. (I have this idea that she would cut her hair and he would shave his beard so people would struggle to recognise them but I'm not sure if that's really part of their canon just yet hehe)
