i had two dogs for over a decade and then i had one dog and now i have no dogs and it's just so weird. what do you mean i have no one to check on what do you mean there's no one happy and wiggly to see me when i wake up what do you mean that when i poke my head into their old room i won't see anyone in there why is it so quiet all the time why is there so much more space why is no one watching me make breakfast etc etc it's such an adjustment and it's a terribly weird one
