i have suffered with hemorrhoids ever since i was around 16. it results from an undiagnosed digestive disease that i have come to believe may be ibs. i have never had the funds for testing. i don't go #2 often, but when i do it is painful, time consuming, and nauseating. sometimes it is diarrhea, sometimes constipation. anyway, i get hemorrhoids weekly. i noticed that for some reason hemorrhoids are just a joke (for example - the very popular vine "i can't sit anywhere, i have hemorrhoids". if that isn't enough, just look up "hemorrhoids" on tumblr and all you get are insults and jokes). my ex called it "the thing on my ass" even after knowing it humiliates me. i don't think it's funny to have a visible result of my digestive problems. i feel like i am the only one who has to suffer with them.
