Noella has a pet hedgehog. She'd be so proud of it and show Zion. Like she would ask him to hold it and Zion at first refuses, but she insists, so he holds it. And he's just thinking, "I hope it doesn't poop on me" if she knew, she would mischievously tell him very innocently that "be careful, if she's nervous she poops" and then Zion would stand really still and not dare to move until Noella laughs and tells him she's just joking

 If Zion was to hold the hedgehog, he would refuse and be like, "no thanks I might drop it" and Noella would say, "No, you won't, your hands are steady"

 At first he's like, "Wha-?!" Like he stiffens and she would smile and laugh and then he gets it. So next time he'd get it and he'd smile. When Noella makes Zion smile or laugh, she would smile to herself. He would blush sometimes too.

Noella always gives him a lot of random compliments, cleverly snuck in (like the steady hands bit)

Zion's reaction to the steady hands is like, "!!! ..well, you’re right. My hands are steady". Every time after he visits her, he feels a bit lighter but he doesn't know why

 If they hung out for quite a while and when they go back, Zion would be tired and fall asleep on Noella's shoulder ( He'd wake up and think, "that was a good rest" but be very apologetic and embarrassed about it)

i Zion is impressed how Noella always knows what she is doing in all aus. Even if he thinks it doesn't seem like a plausible method, he is sort of carried along by her air of calm certainty and assurance Zion is super scandalised and horrified that he can feel Noella's boobs. He'll wonder if he should apologize for touching it but Noella acts like she's totally unaware so it'd be quite weird if he brought it up, like he's paying extra attention to it (which he kinda is ). If they hug he'd be distracted by how inappropriate it is Nolan ribs/makes jokes about the lack of boob touching to Zion he himself has never touched any boobs while Zion has

 Zion is scandalized if he sees Noella's cleavage. Usually with others, he just thinks they are indecent and he kinda looks down on them. To him it's like someone is showing half their butt. On other people, he doesn't care, coz he's like, people are indecent. But Noella is his friend so he feels scandalized on her behalf

He keeps trying to avert his gaze. Noella notices but thinks It's cute like awww. "Charmingly old-fashioned"

 she's so casual, like she's smiling and waving cheerfully and then she's like 'i love you!! be safe!!'

Zionella  (warriors au)

During the rat poison epidemic, Zion is the silent MVP for hunting and fulfilling warrior duties. He quietly and steadily goes further out to catch clean, safe prey for the Clan.

Zion brings Noella food and he's like "Eat."

He watches her unflinchingly, and doesn’t move until finish eating and then he grooms her!!! (BIG DEAL cuz he’s stopped sharing tongues.)

She's so tired and stressed and worried she forgot to eat and doesn't feel much like eating.

When Zion gives her the pigeon or something, she's like no thank you, he's like "eat.", she's like more no and Zion is like "You need your strength. Eat."

She will be a bit startled/taken aback by his command, and then she smiles and she's like "thank you" and she eats some more

She will end up venting to Zion without realizing. Like she's distractedly saying how she's worried about this, that... Then after she unloads, she would do the cat equivalent of clapping her hand over her mouth, like "Oh! I'm sorry dear, I didn't mean to unload on you" which is a sign of how distracted she is that she forgot

He doesn't react much. He's goes,"It's fine." Like to him is like "you're stressed you're tired you need to eat." which is not helpful zion. and he realises this cuz he shifts a bit and goes "You have a tough job."

He's so bad at trying to have conversation and responding to people... He doesn't know what to say cuz he's like "What can i say? There’s nothing to say." So he literally just listens to you and if you apologise he's like "It's fine." because it doesn’t bother him and he doesn’t mind listening because he cares.  It’s why he brought her food in the first place; because he knows she's stressed and busy and hasn't eaten and she needs some time away.

Noella would pause a bit, and then she smiles a bit and she's like "Thank you for listening, dear."

Zion has a rare moment of speaking up. He looks at her for a bit and says "You can't do everything. As medicine cat you do your best to look after us all." He looks a bit awkward. "As warriors we will look after you too." (he also technically means him lol but he won't say that) Then he licks his chest because he's embarrassed.

Noella is quite startled again (😂) but she's quite touched by his words/reminder/advice. It also reminds her to be easier on herself. She impulsively leans forward to lick him on the forehead on show some physical act of affection.

Zion stiffens a little before he relaxes and then he returns the gesture, licking her forehead and he starts to groom her.
