“So, you’re finally here.” Clymene remarked with a nod of acknowledgement. The day before Oceanus and Tethys informed all of their children who still lived with them about the arrival of Hera who was to stay them for the time being. The titaness had moved back in with her parents right after the war, finding refuge among familiar faces.

The thought of being alone after two of her sons along with her husband who were bestowed their punishments was something she couldn’t live with at the moment. She could bounce back, return to her vibrant and vivacious self with a little recuperation among her own kind. She just couldn’t be alone. Prometheus and Epimetheus were busy trying to repopulate the Earth so they had little time to spend time with the mother, offering her the company she desperately needed. At least she had her parents and three thousand sisters to chose from...and now Hera.

“Did you see my parents already? Not that it’s mandatory but I know they would like to see you have arrived and are settling in.”

Does an entire kingdom count? Odin would give anything and everything for his people - including his life. Their lives are in his hands and he would do anything to make sure that they live in a happy, peaceful and prosperous state. War is not something he seeks out and only ever initiates it if it is the last course of action and threatens to harm those he protects. His people are his top priority, even over his entire family and they all know that. He raised his boys to know that their lives mean less than the well-being of his people. The needs of the man outweigh the needs of the few. With that said, he would protect his sons and his wife with his life, should it come down to it. He doesn’t believe that his life is worth more than theirs and would gladly give it to make sure they lived. However, if it came down to his people or his family and he could only choose to save one, he would choose his people.

Frigga: She is his Queen and thus the only other person he trusts enough to handle the kingdom, as well as himself. There is no one who loves their people more than him but Frigga has gained the people’s love and trust through showing that love in return. A strong-willed and (usually) level-headed woman, she knows what Odin wants to achieve as a ruler and thus would be able to handle any sort of emergency that came to their doorstep. ( @allmom )

Thor: The heir to his throne and future king of Asgard, Odin knows that Thor would do what is best for the kingdom and their people. He taught his son everything he needs to know about being King and (depending on the timeline) he would trust Asgard in the hands of him. He is a born leader when it comes to the men who defend their kingdom and would be able to lead them confidently and fiercely against any who opposed them. ( @asgardianhammer )

Vili: He is his brother and thus the other part of him. No one knows of his childhood quite like Vili does and thus he is his most trusted adviser and confidant. They are connected by blood and very similar in age and experience, which is why Vili is someone who Odin thinks of first whenever something happens. Where Odin is temperamental and fiery, Vili is calm and cool. He is able to easily calculate, whereas sometimes Odin can find himself in a frenzy. ( @tiembres )

@rcpulsive is one of my favorite writers on this site, because she puts thought and effort and care into her characters, and has amazing english no matter what she constantly apologies for. Even characters whose fandoms I’ve never been into she makes interesting and compelling for me, and when she writes an OC, everything about that OC is fleshed out and full of depth. The OC we originally met through had this incredible backstory and world built right into him that was something you would want to explore with your own muse.

She has this incredible imagination, too, and always comes up with these little headcanons or details that bring any character to life.

She’s also one of the people I trust most in the tiny part of the world I know, and from the time I met her I was instantly comfortable telling her anything at all, because she’s just that kind of a person. I’ve always had anxiety around other people, and particularly on the internet, but I never really felt that with Napha. She has this kind of aura that has always made me feel better or calmed me down.

She’s also incredibly strong, funny, and intelligent, not to mention absolutely gorgeous.
