The issue of climate change is undoubtedly full of controversy. While some scientists affirm that the rate of climate change is increasing and is caused mainly by greenhouse gas emissions, other scholars deny this and state that climate fluctuations are merely due to cyclic patterns that have always existed throughout history.  What is less well known is the fact that, while some authors agree about global climate change they differ significantly in their views as to the cause. Natural phenomena such as solar spots, magnetic rain coming from the Sun and the heating of sea water due to internal magma, could all surpass greenhouse gases in their effects on the Earth’s climate.
