I headcanon Herdzians as Hispanic and here’s why;

The three most prominent Herdazians’ names are just one letter away from Spanish names:

Lopen=Lopez

Palona=Paloma

Huio=Hugo

Chouta is just tacos.  Crab tacos, or in the case of soulcast meat, krab tacos.  But still.

everybody loves chouta

Huio and Lopen’s accents read an awful lot like Mexican/Chicano accented English

A lot of herdazian words have a sort of Spanish vibe to their construction.  Gancho is literally a spanish word.  It just means “hook” but still
