I've just been wondering, why do some people use "folx" when "folks" is already an inclusive, gender neutral term?

I'm not judging I'm genuinely curious. It's been a linguistic pattern that interests me. I just want to understand different people's reasons for using the particular spelling.

I'm all for inclusive language and want to learn all I can.

So please reblog with your reasons for why you do or do not use "folx" in your vocabulary. Your perspectives are highly appreciated.

Question to who's native American, natives, or who knows the symbolism? With my apologies in advance.

I'm trying to search all around the internet but I can't find any of the symbols carved on a bracelet I got from a stall made by a native american man.

He had lot of carved items from the shell of a fruit and necklaces and rings, he said he does it himself, and symbolism in the bracelet he has have some the 4 elements some fire, wind etc. And even the cardinal points.

But I can't find any of them online and I start wondering if he lied and played me. So I humbly ask if any of you recognize these and their meanings or if it was all just a shop thing where I wanted something meaningful and from who actually knows the power in it's significance.

Thank you for your compliment, and thank you so much for looking out me. Looks like they’ve been taking art from other YOI artists and posting them as videos without credit as well. I’ve left them a comment on the video (I don’t think you can message them directly? Or at least I don’t know how to), and I’ll give them some time. I might report them if they don’t respond, but honestly? I’ve seen so many cases of my art being reposted without credit on Instagram and Facebook that it’s getting really exhausting. I just don’t really have the emotional capacity to deal with all of them. Art theft can get pretty discouraging. People insisting I should be flattered that they repost my art at all when there are so many better YOI artists out there is…not doing wonders for my mental health. 

But still, I’m grateful to you for pointing it out for me. I feel cared for.

I think I should start adding my url to my art.
