Heorot or Herot is a mead hall described in the Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf that belonged to the legendary King Hrothgar, a Danish king of the sixth century, where Hrothgar's warriors would gather to drink and feast and where he held court. "Heorot" means "hall of the hart" in Old English. Hart is a male deer or stag. A deer is a majestic and noble animal but it's hunted by predators. Perhaps Hrothgar's mead hall was designated with this Old English word as a sort of allegory to describe the hall's fate, as it is destined to be attacked by Grendel.

A second piece for orchestra and a theme for Hrothgar from King. Starts off slow, but turns into a powerful whirlwind of notes. Follows the character's position in the story, as Hrothgar's initial appearance in no manner matches his actual intentions.
