Origin Story - Part 1

Lottie: “Well... I think I can start from the beginning... Which is: I am an orphan.”

“I really wish I could recall more things, but it’s almost impossible. Unfortunately, I’m not one of the rare, gifted children who can carry their memories since they were born. Though...”

“It seems like a rough start, but orphanage was a nice home! I grew up with a lot of sweet children, and the nannies were very caring with everyone.

Eveything was just fine, however that it was rare for a child to be adopted before showing their quirk. It was understandable though, most parents were afraid of the surprise. Imagine taking a baby home and, four or five years later, they blow up the house? Or disappear into a paralel dimension? The nannies were more prepared to at least take care of it.

That’s why most of us stayed at the orphanage until we had developed our powers, so a lot of us grew up together since young age or were just taken care of by the older children. We were all great friends and it felt like a big family.

But, as good and happy things never last, one day things just started to go downhill. One day I shall never forget.

The day my quirk appeared.”
