#hex.talks #hex.art #i tried drawing it inverted bc with the red clover #i had trouble translating some stuff #essentially w block printing you’re ‘drawing’ the lighter areas using your carving tool #so with an image where the dark parts are the ones that are drawn. it’s harder to achieve certain details #no idea if i’m making sense lol

#hex.art #her space buns Are super cute but her antennae already give her head a nice silhouette. so. idk.#i tried but it looked too crowded #alternatively i could have her antennae face down in the way that i saw in a lot of reference pictures #which would add to her shyness #but (in my mind) the antennae sort of map to eyebrows in terms of facial expressions
