Every time I tell this story I’m met with the same reaction

Gonna tag this as a vent just in case, but it’s mostly just me being confused and grossed out
My psychiatrist: So, unfortunately because you’re able to force yourself to act more “normal”, and be able to get your school work done, it might take a while to get transferred since the people handling diagnosing have very little resources so they have to prioritize those who are “more disabled” by it.
Me: DD:
My psychiatrist: However, and I’m just saying here, I and a lot of other people think you definitely have autism, and also potentially ADHD, so do with that what you will.

Top ten things you never expect your mother to say:
1. “You should try cannabis”
My psychologist looking at me after I talked about fnaf for a solid 10-15 minutes during the first part of my autism evaluation
Sometimes I think to myself that the things I’ve been through aren’t actually that bad and I’m just being dramatic and getting all worked up over nothing
Then I remember that I’ve literally gotten stabbed with a pair of pliers before and that’s the LEAST concerning thing that’s happened to me and that shuts my brain up pretty fast
