Movieverse/or modern au headcanons for Lou because I was listening to Man in the Box by Xdinary Heroes and I had rock band Lou headcanons (and because I don't think we have enough silly of him in this fandom and I am here to change that!). Enjoy!

He has a reputation of never speaking during interviews. It started out as him being genuinely afraid and going mute under all the gazes, but then it turned into this funny thing between the band and the fans. Like to a point fans count how many seconds in total he spoke.

Has shit load of sensory issues... For example, what he hates the most about his job is summer shows. Because sweating overstimulates him and he hates feeling sweat on his skin. Worst if their costumes are not heat friendly. This is also the reason he keeps his hair short, despite fans asking him to let his hair grow longer. Because when it's longer it gets all wet and sticks to his face and neck and it drives him insane. He actually had a few meltdowns over heat on stage and had to leave the stage between songs to cool himself down.

One time when asked about his "quirks" on a text based interview, he answered honestly about his autism and how he has sensory issues. But the magazine he talked to cut and twisted his words to make it seem like he had celebrity complex. Fans didn't believe this but general media, for a brief amount of time assumed he was just so full of himself like that. Later he talked to a live interview about this issue and it became a whole scandal. One thing about him, is that he is not openly loud and angry but he will find a way to avenge himself and get you to pay if you do him or his friends wrong.

Takes Lilly everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. From concerts to events to red carpets to everywhere. If Lou is attending something, you can just turn your head around a bit and you will spot her somewhere nearby. The moment he is done with the minimum amount of time he has to spend on camera he is going to run to Lilly. They are very open about their relationship but also strangely private. Private and protective of their relationship, but not secretive.

Initially, alongside being the main songwriter, he was a back vocal and an instrumentalist. But his singing got loved by fans so much that he started being a main vocal in some songs. Then this turned into all four members switching positions in different songs. It actually allows for more freedom.

He actually is such a gifted dancer, and misses this being the sole thing he does on stage. But forming a rock band with his friends meant sacrificing that part of his passion, so he settled for it. However, sometimes he will still make dance performances for shows here and there, and even sometimes does so by inviting Lilly on stage.

Not being a full time dancer is especially strange because at school he was constantly dancing. All his performance exams, all the school shows, all the little school festivals, that was his thing. More than singing. Actually, him and Lilly were in the same school and performed together a lot. They were a very famous duo.

He is actually Japanese/Chinese, but hasn't lived in China too much. His mother's Chinese and his father's Japanese. (One hc I have with my wife is that his father is also part Turkish but I'll keep that to myself now.).

During high school, which was a performance arts school in Japan, him and Lilly were in the same school, then he got into a university in the US and Lilly, not knowing what exactly to do herself just tag along with him and they moved there together. He met his friends and future bandmates there.

He may be a puppy, but he is NOT the kind that is so utterly oblivious naive. This guy is smart as hell, mischievious even, and very, very sly when he needs to be. You will never see him coming, he is few steps ahead. Maybe that's why the ninja allow him to help them in the movieverse. They are lowkey impressed.
