How to Stay Productive During Summer
After being asked by a follower to make productivity post for summer, I decided to go ahead and make one!
Productivity does not have to mean doing school work/educational things. TAKING CARE OF MYSELF AND MAKING MYSELF HAPPY IS ALSO PRODUCTIVITY.
Watch your favorite movies

The Foxhole Court/All For the Game trilogy is $1.98 total and it is amazing. I jus- I just really really really love those books
I can assure you that you will see more than one shooting star if you are outside long enough
Play your old favorite video games
Everything you wanted to do during the school year, do it now.

Familiarize yourself with upcoming classes in the new year
i.e. if you have an AP class next year, I recommend looking up masterposts or resources for that subject
Talk to students who have been in your next year’s classes
Listen to music, read a book (you previously read in your native language), watch movies, or/and watch youtube in your selected language
Whenever you learn a new word, write it down in a journal along with it’s definition and part of speech
This can be done with any language (so, if you are learning a language this can be very helpful)

Prepare for the SATs or ACTs

I’m not lying when I say the musical actually helped with APUSH
I’m very much super introverted so I’m not sure how many people would enjoy these, but I hope at least one person finds this section helpful

Play games like manhunt or mafia and buy sparklers from the dollar store
Who ice skates during the summer? Nearly nO ONE. Which means: YOU HAVE THE WHOLE ICE RINK TO YOURSELF. HOW FUN?
Roller skating is a great alternative
Everyone comes in their pajamas
Library/Netflix rented movies
Backstory: middle-school-me and my friends would dress up (liKE REALLY dress up) and take pictures of each other for instagram.... we were cool
