here’s a cellular division mindmap that i did last year.

besides indicating stress, accents can change the meaning of a word. so...here are some accented words and their unaccented alter egos.
aun → even || aún → still
de → of || dé → subjuntive/imperative form of dar
el → the || él → he
mas → but || más → more
mi → my || mí → object form of yo with prepositions
se → one’s self || sé → yo form for saber
si → if || sí → yes
te → object form of tú || té → tea
tu → your || tú → you
these differences come with context, so it’s hard to be confused while listening to someone speak. but, be mindful of the accents when writing.
not all grad school readings are created equal! jk even the classes i have real textbooks for i get to watch a lot of TED talks. today was the first day of the new quarter, although i don’t have an on-campus class until tuesday. i’m taking:

hi friends !! I finally decided to kick my own butt into introducing myself to the studyblr community and contributing to such an awesome cause of helping other people be productive humans !!
what am I studying?
• i’m a sophomore speech language pathology major w/ a minor in asl
• fall semester hasn’t started yet BUT I’ll be taking these classes:
hearing science
phonetic description of speech
beginner american sign language
advanced spanish grammar and composition
professional ethics for healthcare
how am I studying?
• I’ve gone through lots of study methods and been wishy-washy about every single one
• I’ve recently become interested in using Onenote more efficiently so thanks to @vanesastudies and their wonderful Onenote calendar + syllabus template, I will have combo planner + notes system. once I get more info from my classes I would love to make a post about how I plan to utilize this system !!
• I’ll also be using a paper planner from ban.do because I can’t help myself
