Religion wasn’t exactly up Eiji’s alley, but the church looked too beautiful not to visit. The stained glass windows looked especially stunning, and that was from the outside. So if he was going to be stuck in this simulation indefinitely, he might as well get to know his surroundings.
He entered the church, eyes widening at the scene before him. The sunlight filtered in through the windows, causing splashes of color to light up the room. It was a bit unnerving to see a strange NPC standing idly, but after dealing with their new ‘king,’ he was glad they didn’t jump up and immediately demand he murder the next person to come through the door. And he was even more relieved this wasn’t the case when it turned out to be Yuki.
He remembered meeting her not too long ago -- the bento arranger who looked like she never slept. He approached her with a warm expression on his face.
“Hello, Kurokame-san,” he said. “Are you doing okay? Have you tried eating any fruit? I was thinking about how tired you seem, and I think tea or sleep medicine would help too. You know, if you don’t want to try makeup or fruit. Oh, and massages can also help!”
He nodded vigorously, an idea then occurring to him. He gestured for her to turn around, still rambling.
“I can give you a massage now, in fact. Sometimes I give Kubota-dono massages and he seems to think I do a good job. So please allow me to try my hand at helping you feel more relaxed!”
