OH MY GOD. I JUST REALIZED WHY THE NAME "THREE WISHES" SOUNDED SO FAMILAR TO ME.

So, back when I was a little kid, I watched the Treehouse TV channel RELIGIOUSLY. And one of the shows they showed there was Hi-5.

And this song...my god, this song. The chorus has been stuck in my head for a long time. It's just so freakin' catchy!

I thought I'd locked it away, but when Splatoon 3 announced that the Now or Never Seven's song for Grand Festival was called "Three Wishes", I immediately thought, "That name sounds oddly familar..."

And JUST NOW, my mind suddenly sang something that made me connect all the dots.

"You get three wishes/What will they be?/Three wishes/One, two, three!"

HI-5. OF ALL PLACES. IT WAS HI-5 THAT I HAD HEARD THAT SONG NAME FROM.

This is...INSANE. To think that Splatoon would actually remind me of something from my own goddamn past JUST BY THE SONG TITLE ALONE...I wish I was joking. I'm at loss here.

Now I really wanna see someone make the Now or Never Seven sing Hi-5's Three Wishes, or artwork of them in Hi-5's outfits. God, that would be a trip.

If you ask me, though...
