Secret Society of Super-Villains (1976) #2
Another Cuphead oc! This time a boss. I feel like it’s kinda hard to read the text above, so I’ll type it out here:
“Hi-Jack was one of the Devil’s debtors before Cuphead and Mugman freed him and the others. As a virus, Jack can take control of anything that requires electricity to function. While he can eat food, energy is better at providing him nutrients; he likes to snack on batteries. When very low on energy, Jack enters “Power Saving Mode,” a feral, mindless state that seeks out electricity.”
Jack is capable of traveling through powerlines, his main mode of travel. He doesn’t use his power all that much, but he’s made a living out of fixing things for people.
Jack is a scientist and engineer with a love for technology. He and Dr. Kahl are good friends and often share ideas for new inventions. He’s even capable of taking control of Dr. Kahl’s robot, although he never has.
Unlike many of the other bosses, Jack wasn’t very keen on picking a fight with Cuphead and Mugman. He’s a very shy, introverted person who doesn’t like arguing or getting into altercations. Not many people know him besides those aware of his inventions or seek out his help. He quite likes it that way, but he does sometimes get lonely.
