The Zine Path Is a Pathway to Many Projects Some Consider… Unnecessary (anyway, here are more Star Wars Zines ideas I'm planning on making!)
Before anyone panics—no, this does NOT mean the Jedi: Fallen Order / Jedi: Survivor zine is cancelled or being replaced or anything like that 😭 absolutely not, we are staying on target (unlike a certain Death Star situation).
This is just me… gently staring into the void of future projects and going “hmm. what if I made more” 👀👀👀👀👀... aka me throwing ideas around and seeing if people would be interested / if I should start organizing things eventually!! I have ADHD, I need to plan stuff or it will never happen and I will forget-
Also this is JUST zine ideas for now! This doesn’t even include smaller events/weeks I have in mind (because that’s a whole other list and I will spiral)—
Potential Zine Ideas (aka my brain at 2am):
Concept / Original-leaning:
“What If?” AU Zine → Alternate timelines (Anakin doesn’t fall, Order 66 fails, etc.) → aka emotional damage but in new directions
“Through the Force” Zine → Dreams, visions, Force bonds, weird Force stuff™ → very artistic, experimental, slightly “are we okay?” vibes
“Letters Across the Galaxy” Zine → Fully epistolary (letters, logs, transmissions, etc.) → Writers could go absolutely feral for this one and honestly same
“The Hidden Path” Zine → Underground networks, safe routes, helping Force sensitives survive → rebellion, hope, quiet heroism… pain but like, meaningful pain
Character / Group-focused:
“Bounty Hunters Guild” Zine → Cad Bane, Boba, Fennec, etc. → morally questionable people doing their morally questionable best
Found Family Zine → Mantis crew, Ghost crew, Din & Grogu, clones… → if it hurts and heals at the same time, it belongs here
Villains Zine — “From a Certain Point of View-” → Dooku, Vader, etc. → and yes, Darth Maul is here → I will NOT be normal about him. I refuse. this man got cut in half, survived out of pure spite, came back angrier, more dramatic, and somehow even cooler?? absolutely unhinged king behavior. 10/10. would dedicate an entire section to him spiraling in space again. I love that short tomato king so mUCH-
Inquisitors Zine → Trilla Suduri and the rest of the Inquisitorius → angst. identity loss. imperial horror. yes please.
Specific Media / Eras:
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Zine / Event → adventure, childhood wonder, survival → give me chaotic kids in space energy
Star Wars: The Old Republic Zine → Sith vs Jedi, HUGE cast potential → could be split by class stories (Sith Warrior, Jedi Knight, etc.) which would be so fun
Jedi / Clone Wars / Angst Central:
Order 66 Survivors Zine — “We Lived” → Cal Kestis, Kanan Jarrus, Grogu, OCs 👀 → survival, trauma, rebuilding
Grey Jedi / Balance Zine — “Between Light and Dark” → morality, balance, forbidden knowledge → “what even is the right path” energy
Order 66 Zine — “The Day the Light Went Out” → multiple POVs (Jedi, clones, civilians, etc.) → this one would HURT. like deeply. I am not responsible for emotional damage.
Mandalorian Corner (because I have a problem):
General Mandalorian Zine / Week — “This Is the Way” → culture across eras → Satine, Bo-Katan, Koska, Din, Boba, the Armorer, Sabine & the Wren family → armor, legacy, found family, rebuilding Mandalore/Cities
Boba Fett Zine — “Legacy of a Name” → Jango → Boba → identity, inheritance, becoming your own person
This is basically me going: “I will focus on one (1) project like a responsible person” also me: opens 15 new project ideas like I’m assembling the Avengers
Again—this is NOT me starting all of these right now!!!!😭 I’m still fully focused on the JFO/Jedi Survivor zine!! This is just me sharing ideas, seeing what people like, and figuring out what might come next once I don’t feel like a Padawan trying to assemble a lightsaber with no instructions-
