ughh little vent or whatever so tomorrow we have a chemistry test and im terrible at chemistry so i really need to study and stuff. today at half past four theres also a movie projection at our school and id probably want to go cuz i wanna see the movie and its also like part of this film club or sth at our school and i wanna see what its abt, but except me having to study rn, i would probably go there alone, which isnt like the end of the world, but ig it would be better if i went with someone, and i have two people in mind i could ask, one of them is this guy ive been getting close with lately but hes sick now, and this girl that i dont talk to that much and shes in like a different "clique", if she would wanna go with me itd be cool but if she says no its gonna be super embarrassing, which she'll probably say cuz she also has to study and i would be asking her kinda last minute. my point is, i shouldnt be wasting my time with writing this post and i should be locking in on chemistry so i can finish studying on time and then ill see if i even can go

Listen. I go to school in an area that really frickin rich folk. So these kids. These fucking teenagers. One of them told me to "let the maid deal with it" when the bathroom started flooding. We don't have maids. We have the custodial staff. The janitors whom I treat with the upmost respect. One of them was standing 5 foot away.

I looked at this prissy girl like, are you fucking stupid. Teenagers man.

Fuckin teenagers.

At the very least im a senior, so it's my last year. Thank fuck.

Ngl the worst part of being in a school play is that empty feeling you get after it’s over.

Like you become so used to going to practices and so much of your time and energy goes into it that afterwards you’re like “…Well, now what?”

Especially when you’re pretty much not involved in anything else the rest of the year

Thoughout my youth I got a lot of shit from adults (esp my Former English Teacher Mom) (those are a different breed than regular moms) about how often I said “like”.

Most of them comforted themselves by saying I’d stop doing it as much as I got older and eventually I’d laugh at myself for it just like they did

Instead now when I catch myself doing it whether verbally or in writing I can stop myself and go “Wait, is that necessary? No? Well, it conveys the tone/meaning/vibe I’m trying to get across better than I can say without it. It stays”

Which I think is pretty cool and sexy of me and also reminds me of the time in high school we had to read an article about proper comma usage and then write a response about what we learned from it and I said this
