the second season was great and i can’t wait for the second part ohmygosh!! i also liked christina’s character marilyn in the first season, how she switched up and all. but how she turned out in the second season??? when she ADMITS she’s been grooming tyler? ehh. AND LETS NOT TALK ABOUT HER HAIR OML. i swear i sat infront of the screen for 5 good seconds. is that her?? what’s wrong with her hair and why does she look absolutely identical to chucky’s son glen 😔
but other than that, i also liked how they put enids character at risk; and wednesday not telling her she didn’t see the vision, i feel there’s gonna be more wenclair in the second part since there’s a rumor around tiktok about a leaked(?) scene of wednesday showing more emotion and telling enid “I SAW A VISION OF YOU DYING, OKAY? THATS WHY” wenclair fics are gonna go HARD.
and let’s not forget wednesday’s mom. ohmygoshajshshs. MOTHER.
She definitely used his issues against him but she so obviously saw him as a tool and nothing more. The writers room really took the "make mama happy" line from S1 and jumped off a cliff with it. It turned her into something much less fun (from detached to desperate). Also so much less mean/cruel but that one's a personal preference...

This feels like the queerbaiting of yesteryear (actors on board, wild lines from the characters in following seasons, advertising that could be read with a queer undertone) so... These are not the kind of writers to follow through (especially since they haven't really said anything to follow through on) but I'd loved to be proved wrong. Having a lesbian relationship be the main couple in such a big show would be amazing. It does not seem like something that will happen in the current climate unfortunately, especially with so many US companies quiet during this years US pride.
It does all feel very nostalgic for me tho which is nice :) Just without the emotional investment which actually makes it even nicer
Morticia Addams you will always be famous 🙏🏻 We're getting to see so much of her this season! Her outfits are so fun and the duel was awesome. I can't wait to see what the rest of her arc is!! (...and the rest of her outfits)
