Right... well, I’ve talked with the folks over at the Magical Menagerie and I can safely say, I’m not at all interested in tending to a pet store. And the folks over at TerrorTours wanted me to talk with them, but I don’t really like the idea of calling creatures “horrifying” or “fear-inducing.”

But, uh, the creature keepers that work with Gringotts seem interesting. I got a bunch of leaflets about what they did. And I talked with a magizoologist who does fieldwork on Fwoopers-- mate didn’t seem all that right minded, but I think he’ll be fine after he goes on that sabbatical of his.

Anyone else see anything they were interested in?

“You know, if all of these options are boring to you, I could probably talk to my daddy about you working for Quick Quotes Quills this summer instead. I mean, it’s much more exciting than...” Blair wrinkled her nose, looking around at the closest table. “TerrorTours.”

It certainly wasn’t the best Easter she’d ever had, but she and her father were doing the best they could with their new circumstances. And Jules was with them for the Easter egg hunt, at least, though Becca was afraid to ask if she had plans to go over and see their mother after it was through. Still, Becca entered the Ministry with less of a spring in her step than usual, and as she joined the group of people waiting for the egg hunt to start, she fidgeted with a headband she’d brought, unsure whether to put it on or not. “What do you think – too much?” she asked the person beside her, holding up the bunny ear headband that she was using to overcompensate her lack of Easter cheer.

Adam sat in the corner, trying to be discrete as he drank out of a bottle. He noticed someone had crept up on his side, “You want some?” He held out the bottle, “I nicked it from one of the bartenders when some Muggleborn asked him for a Shirley Temple and he was busy looking it up on his phone. It’s dragon barrel whiskey, not sure what that means but it’s quite good.” He gave the bottle a little shake, “C’mon now, I don’t have cooties.”

“Okay question,” Brian started to the person nearest to him, “Do you think I can go get food and come back so that my spot’ll still be here? Or am I going to have to fight off a bunch of people in the crowd...because I’m not really about that life. But what I am is really hungry,” he wondered.

“I will never get indie music.” Kelsey shook her head at the stage. “Why do the musicians all want to look like hobos.” She turned towards the person standing next to her. “And what is with their facial hair choices? I’m just physically repulsed by looking at them. Which I know is shallow coming from a girl who spends so much time tracking dirt, etc. into the castle but that’s a hazard of my career ambitions.” She cringed at the singer again, “Not a personal choice.”

Clara was feeling a rush. She was in close proximity to her favourite band in the entire world, almost close enough to be starstruck by their presence. She was with her friends at the place that truly made her happy. Dancing along to Billywig High, the redhead was lost in the music. Hands in the air, surrounded by sweaty bodies, she had almost forgotten where she was.

The voices, or the presence of someone familiar made her realise how close she was dancing to the next person. “Sorry! I totally wasn’t doing something inappropriate, promise!”
