Have loved watching How I Met Your Mother but dang it’s sad how much it stripped away character from the female mc’s until end of s8 (where I’m at now) feels like Robin is not a character unto herself anymore. & I was so surprised that Lily had any substantial screentime.

Okay, so I’ve seen the Swarkles’ wedding so, the series is over, right? Right? Do I really have to watch the other two episodes? Because I honestly don’t want to.

I mean, I get it. I get why Robin and Barney didn’t work, and I get why Ted and Robin found each other again, and I get everything. Because the writers built it just for that moment.

BUT! YEARS (or seasons)! OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT! THREW OUT OF THE WINDOW!

AFTER TWO WEEKS I'VE FINALLY FINISHED HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER AND I'M CRYING WOW I'M TORN BETWEEN HATING THE ENDING AND LIKING SOME PARTS BUT HATING MOST AND HATING IT AND UGH TOO MANY EMOTIONS WHY WOULD YOU WRECK THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT LIKE THIS BUT ALSO WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME CRY
