DAY 6 of ranting about haikyuu rarepairs in honor of pride month
today's ship is HOSHIHINA/HINAHOSHII (Hoshiumi Kourai x Hinata Shoyou)
i absolutely love this ship because not only is it iconic because lots of people absolutely HATE Hoshiumi because they say he gets in the way of kagehina/shobio, but I also really like this ship because I feel like their energy just MATCHES. they're both huge forks for the little giant and both energetic gremlins ❤️
Hoshihina the typa couple to be LOUD about their love. neither of them are afraid of pda, in fact, they WANT people to see them. they literally do anything to get people to notice them.. 😭 whether it's swinging their hands, intertwined and skipping down a sidewalk, or an aggressive make out session in public, they're not afraid to show off
i just KNOW they match each other's freak so well too..
Oh Hinata is SO annoying about their relationship. he's constantly talking about Hoshiumi. "Oh, did you hear we got engaged?" , "my fiance is so amazing.." , "that's the same hoodie my fiance has!" , "my fiance would be able to hit that perfectly." he NEVER shuts up about Hoshiumi.. everyone is sick and tired of it all.
that also goes for Hoshiumi.. he never shuts up about Hinata either.. at this point, Kageyama knows more about Hinata than he ever wishes he knew. once Hoshiumi starts talking about Hinata, he can't stop. and then he eventually spills out secrets that were never meant to be heard by anyone else.
Ushijima, on the other hand, asks for updates every single day on Shoyo and their relationship.. 😭 not to hear about.. all of that.. but he just wants to make sure their relationship is going strong and Hinata is doing good. even if it means sitting through a 40 minute conversation about what makes Shoyo scream..
oh and I bet you they have a FIELD DAY explaining how they met to fans. i just know they exaggerate the HELLLL out of it. "We hated each other." , "oh, yeah, no, I didn't want anything to do with him. he stole my idol!" (they never hated each other. just.. intimidated by each other and was too scared to actually become friends until later on)
