Shit. Ugh. Maybe this one?

2. Do you prefer reading during the day or at night?

You know, I never thought of this... During the summer, definitely during the day because I love being outside in the sun by the pool or beach. But I do love curling up at night with a great book.

3. Do you cry while reading?

We will not discuss how often I cry on public transport while reading.

4. If you could have a pet from any book, what would you pick?

ooh Hedwig from Harry Potter or maybe Madox from Fire & Flood

5. What is the section you walk to immediately when you enter a bookstore?

YA then sale

6. Is there any book you prefer the film/tv adaptation of?

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

7. Do you prefer orderly or messy bookshelves?

Both. Depends on my mood.

8. Can you read even when it’s really noisy or do you need quiet?

Give me a book, and the entire world around does not exist.

9. Do you prefer children’s, YA, or Adult fiction?

YA

10. Do you have reading slumps often?

Actually, no and I hadn’t really had one that was really bad until this year.

11. What is your ‘that was my childhood’ book?

Harry Potter. Got the tattoo to prove it.

1. Do you have pets? If so what kind? I don’t have any myself, but I have a lot of “adopted” pets from work. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, pigs, etc. 2. Favorite book? I find this really hard to answer, but most of the time I reply with White Fang by Jack London because it was a childhood favourite. 3. Currently reading? Battle Royale by Koushun Takami (translated by Nathan Collins); I don’t know if it’s just this edition, but it’s starting to feel a little bit shoddy. There have been a lot of errors and areas of bad continuity. 4. Favorite tv show or shows? Luther, Gilmore Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, Spartacus, Sense8, iZombie.... 5. Favorite movie or movies? Hook, Doom, Memoirs of a Geisha, the first and second Captain America films, The Neverending Story, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away.... I have a shelf dedicated to my favourites. 6. What book got you into reading or had the most impact on you? I don’t really remember a specific book that got me into reading, but the first Wheel of Time book by Robert Jordan definitely had the most impact on me as a child. I remember reading it and feeling very grown-up because I was reading an adult book. 7. Hobbies? Unfortunately not a lot at the moment. Reading is the main one. I used to do Traditional Shotokan Karate, but I don’t have the time. I’d really like to get back into swimming. 8. Favorite animal it can be mythical or real? It has always and will forever be the wolf. 9. Favorite Disney movie and favorite character (doesn’t have to be from that movie)? I have a lot of favourites, but Robin Hood, Basil the Great Mouse Detective and Mulan come to mind. I also really loved The Princess and the Frog especially Tiana. 10. Favorite snack? Melon. 11. Your otp? I have way too many otps to count.

Hey! What was the book you found? Congrats! I love finding books you can never find

Apologies for being so late in replying, but it was Children of the Serpent Gate by Sarah Ash. It’s the final book in the Tears of Artamon trilogy, and I have been looking for it for so long. Not actively because I didn’t think I’d ever be able to pick up a decent enough copy, but it’s always been in the back of my mind. I’m actually pretty nervous about finishing it after all this time.
