Trump needs to indulge less in such egotistical flights of fancy and focus more on the corrupted childhood issues from which they originate.

Many people who have unfortunate experiences in their formative years go on to resolve, in fits and starts, any residual adverse effects so that the saying, "life begins at forty" (or any age appropriate to the individual) has a real and permanent meaning.

Trump, on the other hand, is like all autocrats - whether heads of state, heads of organisations, or heads of families - in that he has hardened the surface fear of his psychological history and thereby created a "psychological weapon" with which to distress, damage, or destroy others. Or control them.

There's no such thing as a free lunch, however, and the weapon effectively replaces those core instinctive qualities without which a human being effectively becomes a HISO - someone who is "Human in Shape Only".

The image of "Pope Trump" illustrates this: even if intended as humour, a momentary escape from an inner conflict where a sense of greatness is constantly being thwarted by those who should have no cards to play, there's no natural awareness that the image may be an irreverence to Roman Catholics, particularly coming as it has so soon after the death of Pope Francis - whose funeral Trump attended! - but before the conclave has elected a new pope.

The portrayal of Trump as "holy" hides a darker reality. It does, however, reflect his need for the same kind of adulation at the international level as his fan base gives him in the USA.

Trump is "frozen in time" - an own goal - as far as the reclamation of natural qualities are concerned. Who would have thought that being a billionaire president, constantly concerned about money and power, could be so limiting!

Orca Hiso - MerMay 2021

And here wo go! The final piece on the final day of Mermay! I absolutely LOVE how this came out! For a first try at something like this (sunset over the ocean and all the lighting and water) I think it came out really good! This is probably the FIRST piece I have ever made that I actually want to print out and hang on my wall! And yes, I know it's got "Free Willy" vibes, but the Orca (aka the killer whale) just seems so suiting for Hisoka. They're intelligent, deadly, love to play with their prey, I could go on and on. Anywho, first week of June is gonna be themed "Hisoka's birthday" then I will be switching over for the #animepride event. I will also be continuing to put out the comic pages, got four more to go! Halloween Costumes - Adult Trio

So Halloween is tomorrow (yayyyy!) so of course I’ve put together some Halloween related post. I broke the Phantom Troupe in duos and trios so it will be a bit more manageable read. I will be posting throughout the days the different group and some Halloween costume ideas for each character.  I think the best costumes for them is to dress up as member of the spiders. I mean go in the street tattoo showing, pretending they got “fake” Phantom Troupe tattoo, and that they are pretending to be members of the infamous group. No one would believe them cause it’s Halloween, and that’s the best part! 

More seriously though I came up with two costumes for most members.  Usually it is one that I think is really REALLY fitting with their character and the second one is a bit more of a stretch.  Enjoy and Happy Halloween Eve everyone! 

Chrollo:

For some reason Chrollo is giving me a really hard time! Finding something that fits him physically and personality wise is more difficult that I thought. I think he could pull a convincing Harry Potter. He changes in some normal clothes, put his hair down to cover his tattoo, put on a pair of glasses and find a wand et voila!  Granted it might not fit that well personality wise even though there is an

Alternatively, I had this thought of him doing a “couple” costume with Paku as Trinity and Neo from the Matrix. Obviously he will have to do something with his forehead  tattoo but if Hisoka was to use texture surprise to cover it he would be a really convincing Neo. Also Last note: (I don’t ship them together, it was a very random thought, but as you will see later on, I completely see Paku dressing up as some badass woman and I Trinity came to mind followed by a “omg and Chrollo as Neo”!

Hisoka:

I mean... Hisoka missed the memo that Halloween was one day a year! This clown magician wears a costume every. single. day. of the year! October 31st will not be any different. At most he will go a bit extra on his make-up or outfit.. Maybe do magic tricks? But that's about it.

Alternatively, he would dress up with what most of society consider a normal, every day outfit. Just put him in a nice pair of jeans, a big hoodie, hair down, no make up, no cards, and a pair of vans. He will look so different from his day-to-day self that you can basically say he is wearing a costume!

Illumi: 

Illumi is without a doubt the BEST a pulling out a costume. You bet he uses his nen to manipulate his body and have the most realistic costume. I don’t know if it can be considered a costume per se, but dressing up as Gittarakur is more than enough. Our favorite pin cushion is absolutely terrifying looking like. Children will cry from it, and adults won’t be coming anywhere near his ticking-bomb looking ass.

Alternatively, Morticia Adddams. Is it just me that sees it?
