he did! some extra notes about baby-Link’s trio of parents under the cut! 

Keo ended up a single mom by preference - but that doesn’t mean she was the only parent baby-Link was going to have! Link, Maz, and Keo agreed to raise the incoming baby as their own family unit, with Uncle Maz and Uncle Link (tm) ending up the baby’s major father figures and the three of them raising their kid in the home they already shared in Kakariko. 

As for the name - Keo decided to name the baby after Link for a few main reasons: 1) She figured the baby was going to look like she and Maz, so she wanted Link to be more ‘directly’ connected to the kid in some way 2) She found the idea of confusing everyone in the village, and otherwise calling baby-Link “Junior” and other cute nicknames fucking hilarious 3) Out of earnest affection and admiration for one of her best friends / her brother-in-law

Maz was super nervous about being a parent, but Link and Keo’s excitement about the whole thing was both comforting and eventually infectious. Link was absolutely delighted from the beginning - he always got along well with critters and kids, partly because he had so much practice with the Kokiri, and was incredibly excited to get to raise a kid with his favorite people. For the time that he and baby-Link had with one another, they bonded pretty naturally.

Oof sorry if my other ask was confusing, I was thinking of how as Ethan gets better control of the mold, he starts to grow wings like Miranda as well. As for why I didn’t specify all this before, uhhhmm my square brain and it’s short attention span

I see. I did think of possible mold monster Ethan side effects of the mold marking him the primary host but I’m not sure they’d be canon.

Appearance

Arms (up to his elbow) look like he dipped them in oil. Black and constantly wriggling similar to the mold monsters in re7

Also hands bigger and wider, more claw like. Always curved, imagine like a raptors

He’d gain some height, maybe a whole foot and it would disorient him. Also it isn’t like a natural gain, it like stretches him up

Is that muscle or just packed mold? Either way he looks more stocky.

Teeth get sharper and bigger. It would almost look like he is always baring his teeth.

Would stand on his haunches more like the lycans

Eyes are more circle like. Wider/bigger and mold is creeping in in the whites. Pupil completely black

If anything he wouldn’t have wings. Maybe protective spikes or the tendrils like Miranda had.

Abilities/Behavior

I based his mold transformation off of the lycans and raptors. Both because the mold monster in 7 just remind me of dinosaurs and lycans are wolves and Ethan does anything for his pack family

As such he is more willing to get physical and is easily infuriated at threats to him/his family

Carnivore. Will try to eat live animals and has a tolerance to rotting meat. Can’t taste the difference but has a preference for something warm

Will zone out and try to carry Rose by the scruff of her shirt or carry her with his back tendrils. Mia does not like this

Nocturnal and has a lot more stamina. Runs around more on all fours.

Bossy. The mold made him the leader and sometimes it overrides his mind and gets upset when not listened to. (Like if the lords were fighting and didn’t stop if he asked)

Growls and clicks. Maybe some hissing. Voice is a lot more gravely.

Shirts are a wildcard. The tendrils could rip through and ruin them so he rarely wears em anymore. Pants stay on.

If I made any of this canon this would be down the line and very much a bad thing.

UGH. YES. THESE TWO. i literally dont know if i can even articulate how i feel about them but they are SO IMPORTANT TO ME. the scene where kyoko confronts sayaka’s witch is a scene i absolutely should not have watched as young as i did but it’s legitimately burned into my memory forever. it hurts SO BAD but its SO GOOD. and again these two absolutely did contribute to my gay awakening
