Why do we wait til we hit rock bottom to change? Did I really need to crash my hypothetical car into a hypothetical brick wall before I made a change? No. But often it’s what forces us to open our eyes and take action. Do you wish to go through that again? Probably not. Are you ok with the eventual outcome? You survived. Thankful for it even? Maybe . Did it make you stronger on the other side? Most often yes. But do I wish I acted sooner? ALWAYS yes. If you don’t feel aligned with the path you are on (ie: stuck in a relationship you know needs to improve or end, are on a career path that doesn’t suit you anymore, are feeling “fine”, you’re not depressed, but you’re not happy...etc), you don’t have to wait for it to get worse to change. You can put your hands on the steering wheel at any time. Get out of autopilot. Reach out. Starting is the hardest part, but I’m here to support you when you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. 📸: I mean, technically and quite literally I hit rock bottom here...no? No??
