Basically, the most amazing experience of my life. That concert was insane. I almost had a seizure and I was close to vomiting about eight or nine times. Olivia and I were singing at the top of our lungs and I was dancing hardcore to every single song. My ears were numb. We were making code names for guys we thought would buy drinks for us hahaha one was "The Hobbit."
Ugh, but this fucking douchebag- like before AM even got on stage he turned to me and he was like, "Did you just grab my ass?" and I was like, "No...I didn't, I'm sorry.." and he was like, "I think you just grabbed my ass. Do you know what's going on here??" "No, sorry I think you're mistaken I didn't touch you nothing's going on here." "Oh, something's definitely going on here you just grabbed my ass!" "No, I didn't I swear." and then he got distracted and turned away and I turned to Olive and I was like we need to trade spots now. The one thing about this concert was that there were a ton of old people. Like, this one lady cussed a guy the fuck out because he stepped on her foot (p sure she was the douchebag's wife) and then later I guess Olive accidentally touched her or something while she was dancing and the lady was like, "That's it. This is fucking bullshit I hate this I'm leaving." And we were all like ok cool bye. Like, seriously. You're too old for this just don't even come in the first place if you're going to act like that. I'm sure someone else would've appreciated that ticket.
Oh! And then we were offered a hit from a joint. (half regretting not taking a hit because it smelled so good and he was from Cali so it was probably some really good shit, but at the same time it was super sketch because the security was intense and I didn't know what was actually in the joint) The place basically became a hotbox about an hour in. I could only taste other people's hair, my sweat, and marijuana.
When they came on stage I picked Olive up and raised her above everyone so she could see and take pictures and shit, and she got on my shoulders a lot throughout the concert. My arms are sore from keeping them up in the air the whole time. I was going hard, man. It was so insane. I got so dehydrated and kinda sick, but thanks to adrenaline I was still going.
They opened with Do I Wanna Know (obviously) and it was crazy I can't even put it into words. I wish they played Mad Sounds, but honestly I don't even care I got to see the fucking Arctic Monkeys live. They played, like, everything. Ugh.
I'm just pissed they didn't let me bring my camera in. We brought the record version of AM with us to try to see if we could get them to sign it, but we didn't get a chance to :(
But hands down 1000000/10 best concert I've ever been to. If I could only go to one band's concerts for the rest of my life it would be them.
