it definitely looked like he at least wasn’t expecting that reaction from cinder. like i could see him look sorry, but also, this is watts who we’re talking about, so i’m very confused???
he definitely didn’t push any further afterwards, so maybe he’s like, tiny bit sorry? and now has a better understanding of cinder, and their dynamic is going to change a little to reflect that?

Date- Kyoko! I feel like it’d be great to lounge around with her and watch crime shows. She’d solve all the mysteries super fast and call out any plot holes, and like... yeah that’d take away any element of suspense from the show for me, but it’d just be fun to be able to watch something with her.
Marry- Toko, of course! I understand her particular brand of trauma pretty well, unfortunately, and god knows it’d do her good to talk to someone who can relate to her and empathize with her. This girl’s gone through too much suffering in her life and I just want her to have the blissful romantic life she writes about in her novels particularly with me.
