You were nervous about the ceremony. Okay, nervous didn’t quite capture the full range of emotions you’d felt. Nerves were the tip of the iceberg; underneath you felt excited, ecstatic, joyful, and homesick. 

It felt like an eternity had passed before you were called to the seat. Professor McGonagall’s face was stoic, yet you saw the glint of kindness in her eye. 

The moment felt like seconds. It was on your head, murmuring and muttering. 

    “Loyalty ... yes yes. You have a good heart, not one for dishonesty. Hardworking too. It has to be HUFFLEPUFF!” 

A blush had crept onto your cheeks as a round of applause erupted from the yellow and black table.

Hogwarts Imagine: Ravenclaw girl X Gryffindor boy

So I don’t know if you guys remember or not but Tab and I had this really cool idea to create Hogwarts imagines with a reader and an OC that just hang out in Hogwarts and do cool stuff. I get that most of you wonderful followers are Charles Xavier fangirls (and believe me, so am I) but we’d love to add some diversity to our blog with what fandoms we write for. So here I have done a Gryffindor boy and a Ravenclaw girl, who is the reader. 

Also the other requests are on their way, this is just my usual (late) Monday post.

You and your Gryffindor boyfriend, Arlo, were planning to meet in the library in about five minutes. You were running late becasue the Eagle’s riddle took you longer than expected, usually you were good and could get in within seconds but today you were all frazzled. You zoomed into the library, about to see him already sitting at a table. The two of you usually had your own table to sit at but becasue you were late someone else had sat there instead. This irritated you more than it should but you were just happy to see Arlo. Being in different houses got annoying because you couldn’t just hang out in the common room together.

When you got to the table he stood up and gave you a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek, knowing that you got awkward when there was other people around, another inter-house relationship issue.

“What’s in the box?” He asked glancing down at your hands.

“This, my dear is Scrabble.” You raised your eyebrows at him, taking a seat across from him.

“What in Merlin’s name is Scrabble?” He asked as you pulled the lid off the box.

“It’s a muggle game I used to play with my parents. You have to make words with the little tiles and you earn points based on the letters you use.” You explained.

“This sounds like I’m going to lose. If there are words involved you’ll win for sure.” He rolled his eyes, while taking the lid off you to have a look.

“I thought you’d be up for the challenge, not scared are you?” You challenged, playfully kicking him under the table.

“How dare you! I’m not scared of playing, whatever this is.” He threw the box lid at you playfully. You handed out the tiles while going into more depth about how the game is played and even babbling about different strategies you could use.

“I have no idea what you’re on about, but it’s cute.” He taunted.

“Oh hush.” You said placing down the first tiles to spell the word goat because your tiles were terrible. The game went reasonably well, although Arlo was a little disappointed he had to manually move the tiles around. Arlo played mostly three letter words. It wasn’t until you played the word phone that Arlo got confused.

“What’s a phone?” He asked, “It can’t be a real word.”

“It’s a thing muggles use to talk to each other when they are far apart. It’s short of telephone, you’ve heard of a telephone before?” You explained.

“Oh, yeah I know what a telephone is. I learnt about it in Muggle studies.”

“Hey! You leant something in a class.” You laughed at him, knowing he almost never pays much attention in class, especially muggle studies. You finished up the game with you absolutely thrashing him, which you were kind of expecting.

“I think since I played this with you, you should do something for me.” Arlo raised one eyebrow.

“And what is that?”

“You could kiss me before you leave.” You sighed, knowing he was going to say that. In all honesty you had wanted to kiss him anyway.
