Hey Watcher and Puppet History fam, has anyone talked about this moment in ep2 in the context of holo!professor/the substitute? Like, the assumption at the first was just that it was puppet poops, but in light of this actually being substitute, it has such a sadder implication: the substitute was trying to eat the jellybeans. The lil meow meow just wanted to taste some jellybeans, and he was surrounded by all he couldn’t have.

NEW new prediction for the finale!

Professor coming back to the present (how he does I really don't know) only to find a dead Ryan/beef boy

Try as he might to wake him up, all he ever gets out of him is silence

And for a while..all is quiet as the camera looms on the professor, who is now a weeping mess hugging the body of his now former friend as he repeatedly apologizes to him like a stuck record

Before long we zoom out and see a blue glowing figure standing before this somber scene as ominous and shrill music grows.

Cut to black.

And then the entire rest of the episode is just like any other episode but the (now grieving) professor is sitting in ryans chair, occasionally muttering questions like "what did you do to him?", "why do you take upon my form?", etc.

Eventually the Substitute finally admits that he killed Ryan just so he can have his flesh, although he does drop subtle little hints throughout the episode (which does trigger the professor..even making him burst into tears at one point), he doesn't tell him until this moment.

And at this moment..the professor lashes out in vengeance! He's finally had enough, he's already lost everything, His families(?), his friends, his powers, his show, EVERYTHING. And he just can't bear to lose anything anymore!

And at this point I just imagine it being confrontation from the Jekyll and Hyde musical (Professor as Jekyll, Sub/holo!prof as Hyde)
