HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY!!!!

I can't wait for ransom to be happy (holster) and in a (w)holesome relationship with whomever that may be(HOLSTER)
NGL, this showed up in my email, and my immediate thought was "Ransom and Holster totally wear these to their annual bestie meetup in Niagra Falls"
at least once Rans and Holster were having sex and Ransom calls him Adam and Holster just “who the fuck is Adam?” and Rans just looks at him for a moment before Holster just “oh right right carry on”
Good morning
Well, it's 4 A.M. I ended up waking up randomly through the night, as I usually do and thought I'd post on here until I get bored and go back to bed. I'm not sure really what to write so I'll just keep everything going stream of consciousness.
I recently visited Washington D.C. and it was a really great escape. I had great company, my friends were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to help guide us around and find awesome places to hang out. The best, I'd have to say, was Teaism. Why? Because tea is the greatest drink on earth...it might not be made from the best ingredients on earth as Snapple claims but Snapple is proof of the whole "part does not equal the whole" clause. Suppose it's true that Snapple is made from the best ingredients on Earth (part)...this clearly doesn't show that it's the greatest drink on earth (whole). Because, as stated before, tea is the greatest drink on earth. Circular logic for the win.
But anyway, Teaism was great. I'm starting to really love little tea places where you can drink oolong, green tea, and other calming, relaxing teas. It really puts you in a very serene mood for the rest of the day. Especially when you share it with fine company.
Nothing can really beat the warm feeling you get after a good cup of tea...and I don't care what anyone says but coffee CANNOT give you such a feeling. It makes you jittery, reminds me too much of late night studying in the library, and other horrible shit. Tea reminds me of Japanese priests sitting peacefully in gardens living to 800 years old. I would know. I saw them when I went to Mount Fuji last summer.
If anyone wants some good local tea (a very relative statement), go to a place called "holsome" in Princeton. It's owned by an old Japanese couple...and the tea is really cheap ($5 for a pot of tea) and the variety is very good. They also refill your tea FOR FREE by pouring hot water into the pot if the tea bag is still good. They're so nice and friendly and even sometimes give you the more expensive teas at the same price as the $5 teas. The place to AVOID is the other tea place, which looks a lot fancier but seems like it's run by a bunch of witches. It's really weird and hippy. But, to really get your trip's worth at holsome, go with someone special! It's the company, I've found, that makes the experience. As long as you're with people you really get along with and love, you'll find that even the most boring places can become the most fun.
Also, if you want amazing food, GO TO TERESA'S CAFE, which is also in Princeton. Granted, I've only eaten two things at Teresa's (the arrabiata (or however it's spelt) and the linguine vongole) but it's the two best pasta dishes I've ever had. Modestly priced and you definitely get your money's worth. I am obsessed with pasta as much as I am tea and I've yet to find a place that can deliver the same quality as what I've had at Teresa's. It is absolutely mindnumbingly incredible and you would do well to at least try it. DISCLAIMER: I've only tried these two items. The rest could be awful. But I heard the pizza is great as well so most likely not.
This post has basically just been about food and tea advice but since these are probably the best things in life, I'd say it's pretty useful.
Hmmm..what else. Oh, right! That "Somebody That I Used to Know- Walk Off the Earth" youtube video is NOT a live performance. They recorded the track in the studio and overdubbed the audio onto the video. So, no, the sound of the guitar is not 5 people playing at the same time, but rather the sound of one or more of them individually tracking each part for a perfect balance. Same goes for the vocals (which should be obvious considering the middle shouting guy's vocals are double-tracked). It was still a clever idea regardless and obviously brought them huge success, which is great and inspiring (youtube can really do wonders!) to many other musicians and people out there with talent. However, I can't help but feel like there was a little deception when filming this video, especially with the microphone setup and everything. You can't get that sound with their 3 mic setup. Someone from the band, Joel, says in this reddit post that they used those mics for a 'scratch track'. I don't believe him but whatever...Check it out: http://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/o5cf3/five_people_cover_a_song_using_only_one_guitar/
