djdkfkgkh this makes me so frustrated its like fidget spinners are popular in a way as if stim toys (and literally fidget spinner type toys) dont exist. i'm all for erasing stigma but acting like these things are new and fun and revolutionary is a little grating

That’s how I felt too! Like, sure, wow fidget spinners and fidget cubes are a great thing and yay for making it kind of normalised but clicky, rolley, and spinny stim toys have existed before, they were just kind of seen as weird things for neurodivergent people or just weren’t known about.

I always thought it means "No sexual attraction" and the "Not wanting to have sex" is a personal thing. Personally I dont feel sexually attracted to anyone but if I would want to I could have sex.

I hadn’t thought of the latter statement. Like, how the “not wanting to have sex” was a personal thing. Like, most of the aces I know don’t have, want or are repulsed by sex, but I hadn’t thought of it like that :0 But I definitely think that’s true.

Sorry the format is funky :P But ah okay. That makes sense :0 like, sex to me is still kinda a weird concept and when I think about it in terms of like “sex is when this and this happens” it’s weird. But I’m definitely not opposed to it/can enjoy sexual things. But I definitely don’t like it all the time and, when offered a number of times in the past, declined to engage.
