No escape. {Open}
The little boy walked down a street, laptop tightly embraced against his chest, his little, chestnut eyes looking at the ostentatious hotel he had right in front of his eyes.
"W... Whoa..." Chihiro whispered, truly amazed by the building's greatness. Even if it was located in a town where apparently there was nobody, it's door had a sign on the entrance, OPEN written in it. He had to admit he was tired — he had been walking around the town looking for a place where he could rest, and as it seemed, he had just found one. Therefore, he opened the door.
And then, something unbelievable happened.
Some odd force pulled Chihiro inside the hotel, as if invisible hands wanted him to enter. The boy left out a little whimper, and when he realised he was in the lobby. A sonorous laughter sounded all over the place.
“Welcome to Hotel 666. Enjoy your stay, for eternity.”
Chihiro felt tears on his eyes as he tried to open the door, but every effort was useless. It was locked, as he was trapped in there. Enjoy your stay for eternity? The very mere idea of thinking he was going to stay in a hotel forever made him shiver, laptop almost falling from his arms.
As he turned, he saw a reception desk where a man of middle age was writing in a notebook. He didn't even look at the boy — he just reached out his arm, offering Chihiro a key. The key to his room, he guessed. Probably he was right.
With tiny, trembling hands, Chihiro took the key and looked at the elevator next to the reception desk. Room B4. He didn't want to stay there, he absolutely didn't want to. But there was no choice, or so it seemed. Walking slowly to the elevator, the boy pulled the button and entered inside, selecting the fourth floor.
And so, he burst into tears.

[ It's kinda funny that I'm answering these random character questions when I already have a Matt askblog. ]
Unsettling
Typically, those in Academy City weren't allowed to go outside without lots of paperwork and a valid reason, but when you were a top level esper and could hack security and other electric technology expertly really well thanks to your powers, you could sneak out without a great deal of difficulty. Why Mikoto had actually bypassed Academy City procedure was a matter of personal interest. She had been following a certain spiky haired, unfortunate Level 0 to Russia.
The Level 0 in question, Kamijou Touma, had a mysterious power that allowed him to cancel out any supernatural power with his right hand. Even so, Mikoto wasn't about to allow him to fight on his own. If the idiot allowed any power to miss his right hand by even a mere centimeter, it would certainly kill him. She was also fairly certain that Touma's hand couldn't "cancel out" bullets or anything. He wasn't the Accelerator, the horrifying monster that could reflect and manipulate any vector, and was responsible for the death of 10,000 clones of her. Clones of her that had been made illegally.
"Ah, damnit...I need to get some rest...I wonder why the plane is stopping here overnight? This doesn't seem to be like Academy City at all...but then again, I didn't exactly go through the proper channels..." Mikoto muttered to herself as she looked around.
A grand hotel stood before her; it gave her an odd feeling to look at it. It reminded her of a horror novel she'd once read by some foreign author about a spooky hotel. She mentally shook herself; she couldn't let such childish things bother her. She was a Tokiwadai lady; as well as a top level esper. Even if she was rather young, she was far from helpless, given her Level 5 Electromaster power.
With that, she decided that she would take a room in this hotel, as well as clean up and sleep. The hotel was, indeed, quite impressive. She pushed open the big door and stepped inside the hug lobby, only to find it empty.
"Hello? Is anyone here? I'd like a room?"
jsyk
Matt is a bit of a tease, and can come off as a cocky asshole sometimes, but he's only that way to the people he likes.
Just so y'all know~
Mediiiiic (Open RP)
The ginger stepped out of the infirmary, minimally bandaged and smiling to himself.
"Man, all that blood loss made me hungry... I wonder if Kirino's at the kitchen already?"
The redhead stuck his hands in his pockets and walked to the kitchen at a steady pace, looking at people as he walks past them. "Man, a lotta people are trapped here... poor bastards."
He stepped into the kitchen and looked over the food, waiting in a small line.
Goddamnit.
Matt scowled out of his shattered windshield as he sped out of town. Kiyomi Takada had called a hit out on him due to association with his best friend, Mello, and he had just barely made it out of a firing squad with his life. Sure, he had shot a smoke bomb to provide a distraction, but the way those 14 guards had shot him and his car seemed a bit... excessive. Besides, when where the Japanese allowed to carry such big guns, eh?
He felt his bullet wounds sting within his tanned parka, looking down for a moment watching his blood stain the faux, fluffy hair around the sides of the parka, before turning his attention back to the dark road. Matt slammed his foot hard on the steel gas pedal, gripping his stomach at a particularly dark red spot and groaning in pain.
There was loads of bullets within the confines of his car, and an entire line of bullet holes on the left side of his red Camaro to accompany them. Matt angrily took a hard drag from his cigarette and blew out the smoke in a rushed fashion, watching the speedometer going higher and higher as he pressed his steel-toed boot harder into the petal.
"60, 70, 90, 110," Matt growled under his breath. "I fuckin' hope there's a goddamn hospital out here in this shithole, otherwise I'm gonna bleed out 'fore I can even get back to Mels." Matt frowned a bit at the thought, but with two other wounds deciding to sting before he could even finish being in his saddened state, he smashed the pedal down to make the transmission blast the Camaro to 130 mph, shifting to 4th gear at the same time and wincing from the bullet wounds stinging from the rapid arm and leg movement.
After a few minutes, the ginger noticed a hotel and slammed hard on the brakes, nearly making his precious car do a nose stall as he skidded down the road in somewhat of a controlled frenzy. He quickly opened the door and got out, collapsing on the hood for a moment and groaning out from intense abdomen pain, before leaning over and heaving to the hotel's door, holding his lower stomach in pain.
Matt looked around the area for a moment, noticing this hotel was considerably fancier than any other buildings around, but simply shrugged it off, gripping the hotel's glass door handle and pulling the door open hard with what little strength he had left. He slowly heaved in and looked around, making sure no one was around before slowly pulling his blood-soaked parka off, along with his long-sleeve, striped shirt, reaching into a few bullet wounds in his abdomen, stomach, and chest with his bloodstained gloves, and pulling the harsh metal out of each of them. Painstakingly... one by one... he set the bloodied pieces of bullets aside on the floor.
He then hacked apart his shirt into pieces, and made several wrappings around the wounds, closing the open wounds with the cotton fabric as he wrapped it around himself, layer by layer. "Ugh... this was my favorite shirt, too," Matt grumbled to himself.
After a few minutes bandaging and nursing his wounds, he sat up slowly, still in quite a bit of pain, but able to walk somewhat straight now. The ginger headed straight for the door next to the front desk, and reached his gloved hand to open it, before he heard a rather loud <click>. "Eh?" Matt thought out loud, "The fuck? Who's there?"
The last thing that the ginger heard was a intense rushing sound behind him.
