WMU Hotfix 1.2.26

Good morning (or good evening, depending on your part of the world!)

I decided to push out the latest prologue/chapter 1 updates today~

This isn't a chapter rewrite or anything - chapter 2 is still my main priority. But I wanted to share it anyways (and hope I don't break anything 😅)

Things that were added/adjusted:

A new application conflict style (deflect with humor)

Glasses!

Updated flavor text

Updated/revamped advantages 😈

A few new variables and logistical tweaks

🚨 Hotfix Update is Live! 🚨

Hi guys! As promised, I’ve just pushed a quick update to the game to fix some bugs and coding errors. I also ended up adding a few new things while I was at it! You can find all the details under the cut:

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Coding Tweaks:

Singer Path Fix: Fixed the coding error at the start of Chapter 3 that was hiding a small scene in the singer route. You should finally be able to read it now. Damn capital letters, lol!

Workaholic Path: Fixed a few minor inconsistencies along the workaholic route.

No-Drinking Option: Fixed the alcohol inconsistencies. There were a few spots where the MC would drink wine even after explicitly choosing the option to not be a fan of alcohol in Coco's office. I think I caught them all this time…

✨ New Additions & Adjustments:

New Personality Stats: I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m playing around with the stats to find what works best for both the coding and the narrative flow. You now have 3 opposed pairs to help shape who your MC is: Charming vs. Snarky, Diplomatic vs. Rebellious, and Reserved vs. Outgoing. The jury’s still out on these, so we’ll see how they perform!

New Scene with Cross (S): Added a brand-new scene with Cross at the Montgomery gala if you are on the workaholic path and choose to talk to him when given the option. It’s mentioned in Chapter 1 that Cross tried to call you a few times but you ignored him; well, S wants to clear the air! 📞💥

New Seating Option: Some of you mentioned it felt a bit wrong or awkward to just steal Pike's chair when Sutton takes your seat. Now, you have a more polite option to sit at the table without taking that specific chair. I don't want anyone to feel forced to leave and talk to Cross or Claudia!

I feel like I’m missing something since I’ve tweaked a lot of minor things here and there, but those are the most notable changes!

Your feedback helps me immensely. Even if I haven’t implemented every single thing you've suggested just yet, I promise I am keeping them all in mind for future chapters. Thanks a lot for playing and for your amazing support!! ❤️
