🍓 - Esme was born on August 1st. Which I think makes her a Leo and a summertime kiddo. I also took a test for her and she’s an ENFP-T which fits! 

🍓 - Technically, Captain Sung named her. Rook complained about not knowing what to name her for 2 months (even buying a book of names) before Sung saved the day with a suggestion after getting sick of him referring to her as RJ (Rebecca Junior). Esme sounds similar to Rook’s birthname - Ezra. Rook had been flustered about it but Rebecca thought the idea was adorable. So thank you Captain Sung.

🍓 - She’s extremely clever but o god if the girl isn’t forgetful - especially when stressed or has her mind on other things. She tends to get locked out of her apartment and car almost routinely from her forgetfulness. The town’s only locksmith might as well be her second best friend with how much she sees him.

🍓 - And to follow up on personality stuff, she doesn’t like being compared to either of her parents but she’s definitely like them in a lot of ways - super approachable and quick-witted like Rook, but a bit of a busybody and overprotective like her mother. Tell her the latter to make her eye twitch, though.

🍓 damsel’s the one to teach her how to use a gun !!!! before that, she primarily stuck with some brass knuckles she picked up off of the latest bad guy to piss her off. the whole Learning To Shoot scene is very homoerotic, considering it takes her and damsel literally like a decade to get together

🍓 after everything falls apart in LA, her and damsel go on the run together for a few years, because the blood hunt’s still out on her and nines doesn’t want her going out alone. ruby calling it their ‘gay honeymoon’ in the beginning was rly only supposed to be a joke, only then they, ykno, fall in love

🍓 isn’t especially moral and will genuinely feed on anyone, but if someone starts following her down an alleyway at night, she always makes sure to kill them. figures it’s her good deed of the week, considering her.... everything else

🍓 || was big into records pre-heartbreak. she liked the way record players filled up the room with music, and how sort of... crunchy, solid the sound was. it wasn’t ephemeral like digital music tends to be. anyway ricardo keeps her record player and all her records when she dies and she straight up cries when she listens to them again. 

🍓 || she also read A Lot pre-hb. basically the only government institution she had ANY voluntary connection with besides the rangers was the local fucking library. she read a lot of poetry and she’s write out lines that stuck with her and tape them to her wall in her apartment. 

🍓 || she likes the concept of lingerie. i think she actually owns some, frilly pink bustiers and garter sets. could obviously never fucking wear it, but she likes to imagine she could. like that awful practice some people have where they own clothes in their ideal size like it’s motivation? all it is is bad for her mental state. 

🍓 || keeps sweets in her purse at all times. usually soft caramels and packets of cookies. one time ricardo watched her buy a big box of cosmic brownies and just dump them into the bottom of her purse. she keeps a ziplock back in there for the wrappers.
