The Top 4 Books (& Book series) I Read This Month

(Warning: Spoilers?)

4#: Princess Princess Ever After

Amira and Sophie two are so cute together!!💕

The fact that they help each other grow and they do the same for others on their journey was so sweet, and at the end where they marry after reuniting and becoming queens together?? OMG!!૮(⁔ ܸ > ⩊ < ܸ ⁔)ა

Also I love how this book is able to give off cozy fairy tale feels while still bringing topics of insecurities and societal pressure to light!

That being said, props to Sophie for standing up to her evil sister. Love yourself, queen!💅🏾

I wish the story's pacing was slower, but it's still a lovely read overall!

3# The Love Report; Volume One

Let me tell you right now- If you want a realistic depiction of middle school love experiences, this is it.

So many different love lessons and about all kinds of love too! Man, I wish I read this when a preteen- would've saved me from a lot of bad relationships.

But tw, there is mention of SA and harrasment. It's not glorified or explicit but if it's not a topic you feel uncomfortable with, I suggest at least skipping Adele's part of the story(I genuinely feel so bad for her)

2# The Spiderman Graphic Novel Series by Justin A. Reynolds

I already love Miles Morales so of course these two books are in the top 3 for me!

Sorry not sorry for my bias towards him.

Overall, great art and wonderful POC representation, and I found that witty narration very enjoyable 😌

One more thing- Trinity and Vex<<<3

Honestly I don't know what to say!

This book, It just feels too good for words✨

First off, the art is beautiful and the character design is gorgeous.

Second, the writing and action is amazing. Love how these two opposite cousins do their best to support and understand each other. (I really wanna know more about Kim and Jalissa's family drama tho)

Also Jalissa's bad relationship history and anxiety about perfection hit too close to home. (She deserves good friends and a PROPER man)

Unfortunately I have one problem with this book... And that is the fact that this is only volume!

So the physical of HoverGirls is coming out in August next year! It's basically completely redrawn, newly edited, with a solid 100 pages more of story! I'm super proud of how it came out! The original will always be here but the physical edition literally has 100 more pages of story, and 90% less typos XD

You can actually preorder it now on Barnes and Noble, coming soon on Amazon, and local bookstores near you! Preords are extremely helpful for new comics/graphic novels especially to help get them off the ground and lets publishers know people are interested!
