i also always forget this but like. no one gives quirinus ANY credit for successfully breaking into the big fancy “super secure” bank 🥺
I have a love/hate relationship with Hermione. Cause she was/is truly annoying with her whole “I know everything better” attitude. Like in the movies Snape called her a know it all and if she isn’t tired of it and Ron said he got a point. But I must admit, at least in the movies, Hermione was more annoying when she was a child than when she grew up.
LOL! Yes, she was a lot more insufferable in the earlier films.
Hermione is so annoyingly righteous when it’s convenient to her. Like I just read this part in DH that had my petty ass wishing I was there.
She spent their time at Grimmauld Place bashing Sirius and basically told Harry he deserved to die because of the way he treated Kreacher. And while I agree that wizards treat house elves so horrible and that shit needs to stop, and yes, Sirius was awful to Kreacher, damn girl. To tell Harry, who felt the loss of his godfather, that he deserved to die? Heartless. Jail. Azkaban.
But THEN... She is so annoyed that she lost her wand at Malfoy Manor later in the book. She is stuck impersonating Bellatrix and using Bellatrix’s wand and she’s whining about it. “Eww, this wand has done so many atrocities.... blah blah blah... This is the wand that killed Sirius!”
And my petty ass was just like, “Oh, now you care about Sirius dying all of a sudden? Bitch.” LOL. She’s lucky Harry was nice about and decided not to comment. I would have dragged her ass.
Remember the, like, two times in the Harry Potter books Ron spoke with food in his mouth and suddenly every other fanfiction has Ron characterized as openly masticating every meal for all the world to see, completely oblivious?

ich so:
Percy was always his mother's son. As a child he looked up at his father with stars in his eyes- his dad's an important person at the Ministry! -but he values that because Molly taught him to.
He's the most watchful, the quietest of the Weasley children when he's not geeking out about something new he's learned and wants to share. That's why he notices the embarassed flush on Molly's face when she's browsing for school robes for Bill (and handing his down to Charlie), the way she pressed her lips together when they need to visit Gringotts.
Sometimes, he thinks he sees her banish some of the food off her own plate onto Fred's or George's. Sometimes she says she's not feeling so well, she'll make a bit of soup for herself and goes without dinner altogether.
There's only so much magic and talent and gardening can do to stretch out such a meager grocery budget.
Percy loves his father but he also hates him. Nothing, no love for your job, no passion is worth the lines around his mother's eyes.
But Bill and Charlie are just as irresponsible, chasing adventure and dragons. Molly is so so proud of them, but pride can't buy a new wand and Ron has to make do with Charlie's old one. They make do. Always.
Percy won't. He'll do his job whatever they ask of him. They laugh at him, but he knows that cauldron bottom legislation isn't fascinating. Percy is tired of fascinating. His job is practical, and important, and it pays well.
He's doing the right thing.
"you don't have to stay" with dickroy please? love you conner ❤
val i hope you haven’t forgotten our tudor au because this prompt screamed it
Roy still saw why people called him the cold prince whenthey sat down to dinner that night. Richard, Dick he had requested Roy callhim, sat straight backed and his face was grim as he cut his meat. Still, Roythought there was more to him than callousness. There was an air of nervousnessabout him that Roy barely noticed, now that they were alone in his privatedining room.
“You will not have to stay here, if you do not wish to,after the wedding and our… consummation.” There was the smallest flush to Dick’scheeks. “There are plenty of properties you can stay during the year, some onthe sea. I understand it’s only two weeks journey to your home kingdom by shipfrom our northern most keep.”
“And where will you be?” Roy asked carefully, elbows on thetable and chin resting in his hands as he leaned forward, ever the differencebetween he and Dick.
“Here, of course,” he responded, reaching over to gentlymove Roy’s elbows off the table. Save the formal kiss of the hand when Royfirst arrived, this was the first time they touched. Dick, Roy found wasgentle. Hesitant. His fingers lingered for a moment more than they needed tobefore his hand returned to his lap. “I need to stay in the capital.”
“If we are to be husbands,” Roy said after a moment. “Then Iwill remain here to rule by your side. We are to partners, and I will notabandon you, especially when you have given me no reason to.” Roy’s heartalready ached from missing his family, but he had a duty as much as Dick did. Hewould be a faithful husband, and his only hope was that he and Dick could growto be friends from their arranged engagement.
When he saw the set of Dick’sshoulders soften at his words he had hope. Perhaps he was not so cold afterall.
