setting: a street in simsaengdong

Despite it being winter, Jungrin still loved how the beach in Simsaengdong looked. The area was simply beautiful, no matter the season. It always proved to be a great location for Instagram pictures, if she’s going for a nature aesthetic. After a few hours of walking around, stopping to take a few pictures here and there, she feels the hunger creeping in on her. It had been a while since she’s eaten anything, she thinks to herself as she continues wandering the streets, trying to decide on what she wants.
As she turns onto another street, she notices a girl that is definitely a familiar sight. The younger is a model, Jungrin recalls from their brief encounter at Trendixa a few months ago. The two had gotten along well then, or at least she thinks they did. She can never be sure, as some people aren’t too fond of the amount of space she takes, always filling the conversation with everything she has to say. Which is a lot, most of the time.
“Karin?” she calls out as she approaches the girl. “It’s been a while! How have you been?” she inquires, bringing the younger in for a hug, as if they’re old friends. With Jungrin there are never any boundaries: either she doesn’t like people, or she treats them as if they’re her best friends, despite only having met briefly.
“I’ve seen your posts on Instagram. Who’s the cute guy you’ve been posting pictures of? Is he your boyfriend?” Her eyebrow quirks up at her question, a teasing smile playing on her lips. The two had followed each other on Instagram following their meeting, and seeing as Jungrin spends a lot of time on the app, she had managed to stay somewhat updated on the younger’s life.
“Where are you headed?” she asks, but continues speaking before Karin gets a chance to give a response. “I’m trying to find somewhere to eat, but I don’t know where to go. Ah, I honestly think I’m craving junk food...” She gives a sigh, considering if it would be worth it to break her diet just for the day.
