Happy 7 years of hrt to meeee~
Just hit my 1 year hrtversary :3
Here's a selfie cause I'm literally cute
Usually when I do transition timelines I try to be fair about it— Like, a good looking pre-transition picture versus a good present day picture. But today is my *7 year HRTversary* so I'm just gonna have fun with it.
Here's the most masculine picture of me that I know of (2015), versus my modern day hotness 🔥(2025)
Mark the calendar, the 27th of April is the day I started hrt
one year being on hrt as of today!
ah yes, a year of paying money so i can grow boobs and ass. its not THE reason i have lots to be happy and scared about but it has been one of the happiest decisions ive been able to see through, and will continue to
Year One
Yet another milestone
Today is my first HRT anniversary. A lot has happened in this year. Some bad, a lot of good.
The bad, to get it out of the way.
My wife and I separated.
I miss my kids on the weeks I'm not with them.
The weeks I am with them, single parenting can be a bit overwhelming.
My jobs insurance description was very misleading about what it covered, so I got my hopes up for getting GCS,
but then got them dashed once the ball got rolling. Worse, when I asked the company to change things, they said it was too late to do anything for 2019, but they would reevaluate their coverage sometime in 2019.
The good
HRT!
Boobs! (what am I, twelve?)
Going full time three and a half months into HRT
Being me all the time
Lots of support from family
The people I work with directly, both coworkers and clients, being awesome about my transition.
Getting a job offer with a little bit better pay and insurance that will cover GCS (but not much else)
Getting another job offer with a lot better pay and insurance that will cover GCS, plus, maybe, some other stuff! (Just got the letter on that this afternoon)
All in all, it's been a good year.
The date is also within a day or two of my coming out to myself three years ago. I wish I'd made a note of that date. Oh, well.
I've included a bunch of my favorite pictures from the year below, but first, a progress picture. It's weird, I can see something of a difference between the two, but I can't tell what the specific differences are.
Day 0 / Day 365
ive been on hrt for 6 years as of today :)
I can't believe the massive improvement it's made in my life.
Happy two year HRTversary to me!
