Ace what are your top 2-3 favorite things about Sky? Any iteration.

Ok. Ok. Okkkkkkk ok I’m going to be broad here and go with my favorite character traits to see in all the iterations of Sky or Skyward Sword Link I commonly read. In no particular order:

Sky’s kindness is a choice. He wakes up every day and chooses to be kind even when everything else in the world is fighting against that choice. There is an unbeatable strength in that.

Polyamorous Sky :D!!! Poly as in the sexuality, not specifically your poly!Sky (although I hope you know how much I love that series hehe). He just has so much love to give!!! It can’t be contained!!!! Extra special bonus points if he’s in a relationship with Zelda and Groose my beloveds.

Sky feels everything very deeply. In the game we can see how expressive he is and I love when that is translated to fics. Give me a Sky that can’t always handle the depth of his emotions. Give me a Sky that laughs and cries and loves so hard that he wears himself out. Give me a Sky who will help and comfort the others far past his own limits because he can’t help but feel exactly what they’re feeling. Give me a Sky that can’t help lashing out in anger when he can’t regulate it himself. And let him be snarky. That’s not super related but it’s always fun. HE FEELS EVERYTHING SO DEEPLYYYYYYYYY

And an honorable mention for Sky being perfect for projecting disability stuff onto hehe

“Hey, guys! Sorry we’re late,” Sky said as he hopped onto a tall stool. There were already four waters at the table, one of which Sky gratefully took. Twilight had a nearly empty beer and Eras had a plate of lemons he was squeezing into his water. 

“No problem,” Twilight said with a smile.  

“Zelda couldn’t make it?” Eras asked. 

“No, she had to work. She said to tell everyone hi,” Sky said. 

“It worked out. She would’ve embarrassed all of us with her skills,” Groose said. Twilight and Eras laughed, and Sky nodded very seriously. 

“Plus we haven't had any QPR time, lately, just the two of us.” Sky smiled at Groose. If he was a cartoon character, he was pretty sure his eyes would be hearts. 

Groose rolled his eyes and nudged Sky’s arm playfully. “Quit being such a sap.”

Sky slung his arm over Groose’s shoulder. “I’m buttering you up for your glorious defeat.”

“As if.”

Twilight chuckled, shaking his head and crossing his arms. “You think either of you will stand a chance against me?” 

Eras rolled his eyes and leaned in, throwing a thumb over his shoulder at Twilight. “This was the whole way here,” he mock-whispered. 

“Oh, don’t give me that. This morning you said, and I quote, ‘It’s cute that you think you’ll do better than me.’”

“I don’t recall that.”
