Fun fact! just as Gun Robot is Toby’s favourite film, Jim’s is his worlds Httyd. Evidence from the picture of toothless on the home page of his laptop at the end of episode one!

So I head-cannon he listens to the music when he has had a particularly harsh day, and needs to take his mind elsewhere.

This is cannon in my mind.

sometimes i think about how in how to train your dragon (2010) john powell created a theme for hiccup and a theme for toothless and neither of those themes have a conclusive ending until 'test drive' when they both merge together and complete each other because hiccup and toothless complete each other and i want to just start screaming.

Sharpshot (or book accurate Toothless, if you will ✨) is actually so forgotten and it saddens me aww he deserves more love 😭

And I also recently realized a coincidence within the story about these two and their human pals—

🏹 Hiccup named his Terror Sharpshot after training him to never miss a strike; and we have Ana, who is the most skilled archer on Berk.

⚡ Ana named her dwarf Terror Thundersong; Hiccup rides a Night Fury, often associated with lightning, and where there's lightning there's thunder.

Not these two dumb dumbs (lovingly) referencing each other like that without them or me even noticing for the longest time 🙈

And believe me when I tell you characters develop their own minds after a certain point and then you just become their puppet and must abide by the things they tell you to do AKZNAKA it's an absolute joy though and I thrive in it 🤣🤲🏻❤️
